The people who are talking about low level CGI comparing to Hollywood must consider the budget. Budget of lord of the ring series is $US281 million While Bahubali series' expense was just $US63 million. Despite of spending such a low budget comparing to Hollywood franchises Directior S S Rajmouli made some brilliant war sequence( especially Bahubali 1)which is on par with any epic Hollywood films. He did a great job which is proud moment for any Indian. Still some our own people lambasting this movie without appreciating director's and crew's efforts and vision. Such a pathetic culture. With this budget you can never match up-to quality of production companies like Columbia pictures, Paramount, Lionsgate or Fox whatsoever Baahubali made a great impression among western medias. Kudos to whole crew 👍

RTK There is nothing like typical south Indian film. Over the top actions are in every Industry, be it Hollywood, Bollywood or Tollywood. It's true there are very bad action choreography in some films. But you shouldn't generalize the whole industry because of a few bad films. There are so much utter unrealistic action scenes in Hollywood too but we didn't even notice it because of awesome CGI and production values. See In Hercules franchise too there are so many illogical action sequences but CGI and great stunt choreography making it awesome. If we spent 1000 or 2000Crores for the same Bahubali franchise, the Final product will be so different. That's why I said budget matters. If you want to appreciate good thing over some minor bad things or do opposite, that's your choice. You are welcome choose anything.But I personally believes Baahubali is a real turning point in Indian Cinema History.

I watched both the parts of bahubali in theatre and believe me man when there was an action scene we were getting goosebumps.especialy the scene before interval in bahubali two which was kinda inaugration of bahubali and his brother please make sure you watch it cause when we were in the theatre our floor was whole shaking that was the best experience.

I think that there is a subplot, if you pay attention when shivsgami was young, and defended the throne from the insurrection, one of the men that she supposedly paid off looked just like ballaldeva, to me implying that ballal wasn’t even the son of the old man with the hand problem.

Wtf was that!? That was epic. Never heard of this, ever, and if I weren't randomly looking at things I wouldn't of never known. Good reaction guys, thanks.

I had opportunity to watch the set of this movie in India It's just size of small 1/3 of cricket stadium rest all is VFX and While shooting of part 1 their budget was not too big So hat's off to director of movie I couldn't meet prabhas cause he was shooting other scenes But it was great experience in filmcity in Hyderabad .

This and the second part were the first India films I watched. Fantastic 2 part epic. I can't recommend these 2 movies enough lol. They will always be my favorites

Sai Sunil why would I ? There are movies available with awesome VFX and CGI . Go watch Marvel , DC or any other Hollywood movie with good CGI and VFX . Avatar 2 is also gonna come :) . I personally don't like a movie which has cartoonish VFX and CGI , which feels fake throughout. It just degrades the movie experience. If I can watch a movie like infinity war with awesome VFX at cheaper price than Bahubali with cartoonish VFX then why would I appreciate it's VFX ? 😃

@@daryllparker5965 In the meantime, u can read a book the writer of the movies wrote, on Sivagami's rise. A prequel to the movies. It's a wonderful book. A Netflix series was commissioned on it, but that's in development hell, so I don't see it coming out anytime soon.

Everyone says that BB1 final fight is better than BB2 climax fight. I don't agree.. u just need to observe onething. In part amarendra Bahubali is a warrior but in part 2, his son mahendra bahubali is just a common man. So need to show fighting(war) skills. Although both r in their standards and according to story..
