I’ve listened to this dozens of times and I think I finally figured out why it sounds nostalgic, 1 the remix uses early 2000s sound effects like the rhythmic clapping and the pluck effect , 2 the voices also sound like 2000s nightcore, 3 the art in the video looks like 2000s pokemon fanart and the image seems to have a tint on it that makes it look aged which further reinforces the nostalgic feeling it gives of. 10/10 remix

Hi everyone! Crazy unexpected update in 2023 on a video I uploaded in 2016! I think I left a comment here a couple weeks ago on a new KZread account, but I honestly forgot to follow up… I’m pleasantly surprised with the activity of this video still! I’m happy to see people are still enjoying this song, even almost seven years later. The question everyone has wanted to know the answer to this entire time was who the artist of the art is for this video. And my honest answer is- I don’t know. Or at least, I didn’t know until you all did some researching which I greatly appreciate! I found this fan art on Pinterest at the time of editing this video. Me being a stupid kid, I didn’t really think of crediting the artist :(. As the video grew in popularity, I felt worse and worse that I was unable to properly credit the artist. I’m still not certain, but I’m pretty sure the artist is @2tg0_jemi on Twitter. Commenters on this video found out that this piece was made around 2011. Please please please correct me if this is not the proper artist, I will immediately leave an edit to this comment if it’s still false. Well, alot of people think this music is creepy, but its actually a love song here from Brazil, it's speed up so it might be hard to realize that, the song basically talks about laying down togheter to watch the nightsky ("Céu ESTRELAR") personaly im a big fan of the song and im really happy that it got such recognition worldwide. (also, sorry for unusual leanguage, as you can clearly see, im not native.)

For anyone curious about the song used for the lyrics, the original song’s name is estrelar by marcos valle. It’s a Brazilian/Portuguese* song so the english words you think are there actually aren’t there. (*Edit: I was mistaken and thankfully people have corrected me, it is not Spanish but Brazilian/Portuguese. Sorry for the mistake.)
