Thanks a lot Aida for sharing all this old and very nice EPLF's songs,drama and poems. I was really watching it with all my heart and i feel so homesick.

oh my god. i attended this festival 1987. it was in revolution school and i was just six.. Every time i heard these songs memories come to my mind. thanks for sharing.

Well it's the other way around. During this time, almost all Eritrea excluding Asmera was liberated. So the derg was in the middle in short.

+Fares Stifanos right but in general as my brother told me he was at nakfa front. some places the frontline was less than kilometer but life goes on as usual.

Abe tassew no this was behind the front line total peace I joined eplf 1988 I was in Himbol itaro nakfa and many other Sahil area total peace at least it was 200 km from derg army beside every one live behind the line every eplf fighter have 6 month to 1 year eplf training behind him he can attack or defend it's area in a moment of every eplf fighter even these singing group are soldiers of eplf if an order comes from top they will go to front line eplf was the most organized army I have seen or heard in africa at time Thanx I hope I answered your question.with the knowledge I have I am in USA
