Room: About the room, it is spacious fit enough for the family's ,when you walk in it smells dump/since its old you can see the broken things in the bathroom everywhere inside the room, the terrace is not clean, and their mattresses are old with some broken ones, Don't expect too much because you will only be disappointed. Its Different from picture where you can see in advertising adds than in real
Services: We arrive later in the afternoon we speak to the reception staff don't expect much about them they are poor upon handling us (tourist) they gve more favor to there local they entertain them first mostly on the pool bar area anywhere so don't get surprised and be patience enough.
Shuttle: Oh yeah the drivers waited for tips 🙄 when we arrive the staff took us to our room and waited there for tips if my husband won't say a word thy won't let go.Once u had tour early in the morning and u have go to the main entrance the drivers argued who will drop us or worst no one will. But if they knew your capable of gving some tips will run after you I hope they will notify there staff wht there jobs is.We wish the management will change this kind of gesture isn't it good.
Restaurant: What can I say the food is delicious except those loud staff they just stood in one place talking laughing out loud some of them does there job most of them don't care at all. Same thing in order to be entertain u have gave tips to them which is not nice i mean that's there job but yes we did gve tips to one person but clueless after that nothing change.
The beach/ pool area: The beach overun by seaweeds early in the morning while we did strolling down there doesn't matter its nature and we love beach'n ❤️ the staff came over to clean it up not a big deal for us.
Oh the pool I stayed there for a weeks but I haven't seen anyone cleaning the pool except the surroundings. The staff throwing leftover drinks to water even the locals aw on middle area which u can see the coconut tree some rubbish thrown in there it smell badly. Plastic glasses is everywhere bottles of wine too which is not safe for everybody.I don't feel comfortable on that pool althou is quite big and enjoyable but I'd rather stay at beach than to the pool.
The pool that captured our interests why we booked this resorts is under renovation as well as the villa's it seems awful no one even bothered to put on details about what's going on in there were surprised when we get there. Be careful with the mosquitoes and roaches be careful brings some mosquito repellant for your safety.
Honestly we did enjoy our stay in dominican republic it was lovely country. Don't just stay in your hotel to many things to discover in this place.
It's not worth what u payed for ,booked in another hotel or maybe the newly renovated villas its almost opened be sure u booked in thre and not the grand.
