On the 31st of July 2017, Captain Williamson, The most senior 737 captain of Bahamasair retired after a long 35 years of service. His last flight was UP238, From Orlando. And what better way to celebrate his time flying than with a flyby over the airport.

I'm the guy behind the livery Bahamasair are now using. Well, I did 90% of it. They changed it a bit when the first plane (A 737-200) was in the paint shop. This is the first time I'm actually seeing the livery fly!
There is something about Bahamasair that makes it stand out among other international carriers. The Bahamasair 737 is majestic for lack of a better term

Not exactly. In an airline, its not always the case that the best/longest serving pilots get upgraded to the biggest plane in the fleet. There are usually chief pilots for each type of plane in the fleet. And in some cases, they remain in that same plane until they retire.
