Bagpipe's talent will always make her relevant. The only thing I can see maybe getting her out high-CC comps.... ...is if we get a vanguard SP over time passive, like Mostima for casters or Suzuran for Supporters. But even then that would take two or three skill casts to "break even" vs bagpipe.

Bagpipe has completely replaced all duelist (swordmaster) ops for me. Who needs them when Bagpipe does EVERYTHING?

@@Spectacular_Insanity Bagpipe also turned Siege S3 into a cheaper Skadi with 2-blocks. Even the powercrept Siege had powercrept Skadi too. Poor Skadi.

@bruh I dunno dude. But Siege's S3 can be used as assassin/duelist since she can be helidropped with it. Siege is way cheaper to deploy (13 DP) than Skadi with S2 (19 DP) and she also has shorter redeployment time. Assassination is usually used on elite mobs (such as range enemies) not on bosses. Bosses are usually dealt with using Surtr, Ch'alter or Kal'tsit not Skadi with S2. You can try it yourself if you have Skadi, Bagpipe and Siege. If you have spare resources, try M3ing Siege's s3 and Skadi's S2, try them on several maps where assassination is needed (enemy casters etc.) in order to compare them. Phantom also powercrept Skadi.

Bagpipe's killing power is pretty underrated, the autos I use her to kill Salas were less scuffed than the ones I used ash in

I just love how cute bagpipe looks in her chibi and her skin so I saved and bought her on the certificate store, didn’t know she was actually this strong lmao, good decision.

I actually used her s2 a lot before I got Mountain lol, it's a good way to start off the map while waiting for dp from the flagbearers. Thanks to how fast she kills an early mob, she doesn't need 2 block count to hold them off the lane (most of the time anyway). Not to mention you can get some extra dp from her killing those mobs and retreating her. Just m3 her s2 and you'll see.

Agree. S2’s damage is way enough for killing the enemies existing at the beginning, plus it needs much less sp than s3.

Bagpipe was my first 6 star, she has been in my squad literally in almost every stage

You didn't pull on the newbie banner? She's not in that and you're guaranteed a 6* from it.

Some additional 2nd skill benefits: 1. fire and forget, zero maintenance lane holding despite being a block 1 2. Immediately kicks in. Sometimes I can deal with a rush using her with S2, where S3 leaks. Its quite a solid skill, honestly, even over the stable damage output if you are keeping on map for the mission.

Depends on the type of the enemy, I guess. If the lane is filled with stronk enemies, which usually comes in few numbers, 3rd skill is definitely more useful. But against consistent swarm of weak enemies, 2nd skill is definitely more useful.

But Yii, Bagpipe skill 1 lasts a whole ten seconds longer than skill 3, that must mean something, right?

Not just the strongest vanguard she's one of the strongest operators, and don't estimate her second skill she can and will hold a lane by herself with it.

“Here is Bagpipe” *not even one second later* And there goes bagpipe. That made me laugh way too much

I always open with Myrtle>Texas>Bagpipe in literally every game. Nobody appreciate texas these days. Texas' additional 2 dp at the start makes you almost instantly deploy Myrtle which makes dp go brrr. And with bagpipe, you can use her s2 instantly as well which gives 12 dp on the go. It's the perfect opener for me 😊

I don't think Texas is underrated. I see her pretty often. Stun + instant DP print goes brrr, but at this point, it feels more like common knowledge.

I don't agree with basically just dismissing her 2nd skill. I used it way more than S3. In many situations you need consistent DPS rather than burst damage, and Bagpipe deals high enough damage that you often do not need to replace her with a guard. She saves you a deployment slot if you just leave her. And for boss deletion you typically want more range and/or arts damage instead.

Eh... you'd have better units after like 20 seconds when you deploy her so she doesnt need to stay that long, s3 could be used to helidrop into tough enemies and beat the crap out of them, funnily enough she does this job way better than some of guard type operators.

Damn, i love the edit and how you present bagpipe. And most of all, I LOVE BAGPIIIIIPE

3:23 I feel called out. For real though, bagpipe at e0 is actually quite bad, like C tier. Skill 1 supporters are either mega simps or trolls.

she really doesn't compete for strongest operator. she's not got the versatility of Saria, nor the nuking potential of Ch'en the Holungday, nor the consistency of Thorns. I'd argue all 3 of them are better

@@AlbRomano Thorns is a measly 20 DP. Saria 22. Ch'en is one thing, but those 2 are dirt cheap for the actual battlefield power they bring. From personal experience, even without bagpipe, you'll rarely run into a situation where you can't get the DP to drop their asses down quickly enough.

as long as surtr exists she can't be the `strongest operator` and as long as thorns exists she can't be the most `versatile killer operator` but she's definitely the strongest vanguard for team play and the strongest vanguard in value "just by existing".

I don't think I'll ever be able to take advantage of her S2 like I would be able to with her S3 just because her S3 also gives her immense survivability thanks to the DEF buff. Anything I would want to use Bagpipe's S2 on, I feel like I would rather bring Vigna just because of the incredible uptime on Vigna's S2..

Seriously, it's really fucking insane in terms of vanguards she's easily the strongest of them all, she wasalready that powerful and HG just makes her even more of a powerhouse and generator with that module of her

I remember back when it was like a week before her introduction to global, Akron was just talking about how good Vigna was and how Baggers was JUST the 6 star version... a year later and a trust 200%, lvl 60 e2 m6 Baggers later with pot 4 and starving for pot 5... I can say that she is not just a 6 star version... Vigna is a great op, but once you get Baggers? Damn tho...

I like how when she came out i didnt even wanted her but i loved gambling and got her on her banner. Best mistake ever

I lucked out way back on her release banner and got 3 in 50 rolls. Instantly used the vanguard tokens for P5 Bagpipe and have never regretted it. She is a powerhouse who gets to farm potatoes in the background most of the time, and otherwise can delete your worst enemy when you need her to.

I literally got her on my very last pull when her banner arrived, since then my life has been changed

I like that this bubbly Operator of a woman also has an attack sfx akin to artillery sounds. It makes me happy every time I hear her attack with S3 on.

Back in yesterday cc i prefer using saga with her s3 instead of baggy The reason is because i took the -75% dp contract and saga with s3 pretty much give dimas sp required to continously wave his wifi tower And yeah i also took your advice bout bringing 4 vanguards when took dp down 3 and squad size 2 back during cc5

I usually use her as a replacement for Duelist Guards (my other one is only Melantha), and heck she does the job better.

She 's basically Nino cosplaying as a Scottish dragon. What more can you ask for that? Yeah, I have Bagpipe since she was first released and the way I take on every map became very different. I'm also a scale figure collector and so happy that Bagpipe is finally getting her own scale figure from FuRyu.

Always bring Bagpipe in every stage 'cause of her advantages. Since the day i pulled for her, she literally saved my brain for an easy way to clear anything. To sum up the conclusion, she is more easier and useful to use than i think before. She is my waifu now.

Funnily enough, I got her from the tags thinking “oh siege looks cool”. Thank you potato girl.

You underestimate her s2 You don't need a burst physical attack on opening in most general content Her s2 is much much better imo Bc you can drop ely and myrtle Then let bagpipe do the blocking opening on most of the stages doesn't have high treat enemies but mostly fast and multiple enemies So sometimes her s3 haven't ready yet but there's already multiple enemies coming With s2 she can kill all of them bc her s2 just kill weak enemies in one hit Soo for all of you who haven't build bagpipe yet Build her s2 first! Or atleast built up to m2 if you have limited resources Believe me you will use s2 more often than s3

Bagpipe is a goddess of destruction. Also maybe I'm weird, but I'm mostly using S2 on her. I just find it preferable for Flagpipe strats (since I only got one flag). Bagpipe S2 > Skadig.

Wow I didn't realize Bagpipe's damage potential, gonna have to M3 her S3 now. Maybe she now has some use outside of just sitting in my rooster

I've been getting everything done with S2M3, but maybe it is worth building up S3 as well
