So many fabulous people mentioned here. From James Bond to Darth Vader, their spirits live on in our hearts. Plus, they left behind the most beautiful gift: to enjoy that precious time with them over and over again. ❤ 😊 Any memories of these people, folks?

I always found the Baftas better, I feel like they properly celebrate films more than the Oscars which just feel like they lick each others arses instead of celebrating cinema. This year in particular was rotten, that In Memoriam also. This one was beautiful, a lovely celebration of so so many artists that passed away. Seeing Chadwick, Christopher Plummer and hearing Ennio's melancholic notes hit hard.

Kinda surprised to see Christopher Plummer and not Sean Connery as the final selection (this is after all the British Academy...) although if I had it my way the mighty de Havilland would have got it. Shame they didn't remember Barbara Shelley - another very notable Brit.

I had the same reaction. I actually thought Connery might've had his own tribute, but he basically came 1st instead of last (Morricone was there since it was his score). Maybe 2020 just had too much loss. They didn't even have time to include Kelly Preston, Hal Holbrook, Chloris Leachman, Honor Blackman, & Jerry Stiller. Still a nice tribute, better than the Oscars usually do.
