So many wonderful people passed that year. From Inspector Cyril 'Blakey' Blake to Arthur Daley, we're all eternally grateful for their contributions to our childhoods. Although they've all gone, their legacies endure. Goodbye 👋 to them all ❤ 😊 Any memories of these people, send them in.

Just a shame that neither of the BAFTA memorials paid tribute to Jackie Collins - wrote half a dozen screenplays, produced half a dozen films and mini-series when women simply didn't have that kind of industry power...and she was a talk show host's dream.

Cilla is dearly missed. RIP Cilla Black

2016 was a fucking blood bath in all the worlds of entertainment. I shed a few tears when they showed Terry Wogan and Garry Shandling, and was surprised to see I actually recognized a few of the other names (like Cilla Black, whom everyone in the world knows as the unofficial female member of The Beatles).
