    Preethi chimneys are available in Chennai. Preethi is a well known brand in Tamilnadu. Unfortunately, they have all their models only with Baffle filter ( till 10 model). They have launched a new model, 2 weeks back with filterless option (11 model). But it is available only in 60cm model. One advantage of Preethi is the service network in Tamilnadu. They give 3 free service for first year, along with free deep cleaning service. And a toll free number for other services post 1 year.

    I was so confused between baffled filter and filter less auto clean chimneys. And you have well explained regarding this in your video good job. I have few queries here 1) So I understand that in the case of ' baffle filter auto clean ' we have to clean the baffle filter too? 2) can you suggest a filter less auto clean chimney having size 90 cm and suction above 1200 with noise level below 60 db for my open kitchen.

  • @TheGrapevineIndia

    @TheGrapevineIndia

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Shyam, typically the auto clean function is for the insides near the motor and such where there are oil deposits. It also helps to liquify the oil deposits near the filter. But you may still need to clean it occasionally. Once a year service is also required - for all types of filters. You can consider the Faber 90 cms - amzn.to/3Dwkh6Y which has less than 60db noise level too.

    Hi Debanshu - technology wise both are different. Your day to day maintenance in a filterless will be lower. If you are cooking lot of oily food, then you can go with a 1500 suction, else 1200 is sufficient. Service on a regular basis will be approximately once a year. It can cost anywhere from Rs. 600 - Rs. 1500, based on your location and work involved. You can check with Faber for your specific model.

  • @TheGrapevineIndia

    @TheGrapevineIndia

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Mihir, in filterless there is a covering around the motor to protect it to some extent. Also we need to run the auto clean cycle frequently which melts and collects the oil from inside thr chimney in the oil collector - which needs to be cleaned frequently like once in 3-4 weeks to make sure you don’t have a ton of grease. In addition, similar to other filter chimney’s - it is recommended to service the chimney around once a year where the service folks will clean the insides. The filterless chimney reduces day to day maintenance only 😊

    In most of the youtube videos and even at local shops it was advised to go with baffle filter chimney instead of filterless chimney at home. As in filterless they claimed that oil got stuck at machinary and later on it may harm motor and reduce suction efficiency also. In addition to this please suggest chimney will minimum sound. Based on this would u still recommend filterless for home usage?

  • @TheGrapevineIndia

    @TheGrapevineIndia

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Ishan, I’ve been using it for a few months now, the sound is equivalent or less than baffle (I used baffle in the past). Every chimney requires regular maintenance- in the case of filterless - a once a year service where they will clean the insides if required. In general - during the auto clean cycle - the oil that may have settled on the exterior of the motor gets heated and melted and gets collected in the oil collection tray. This tray can be cleaned manually based on how much oil is collected. I would recommend filterless- easy to manage with better designs these days.

    Hi Rajasekhar, filterless has much lower maintenance than one with a Baffle filter. You will need a service once a year to make sure they clean the insides. I think filterless is a good option for them. They would need to only do a periodic auto clean and a clean of the oil collector then.
