I waited for some sort of reaction, but since nobody is willing to dot the i's and cross the t's, I will do it. Is it a great, revealing and educational interview? Yes. Is he a highly passionate and talented musician? Yes. Brilliant and viscerally-hardcore ? Not really, or at least not yet. But...as a reporter, you need to take the bull by the horns and hold him in an acceptable position. What I mean by this? If he would have called me an "idiot" with the index pointed at me because I am not proficient in Danish, I would have stopped the interview and told him to go ..... himself. Coming from Cronos from Venom, from Tom from Sodom or from Tom G Warrior this might have actually been a friendly compliment. But he is not (yet) those musicians, is he? And anyway these 3 guys would have never done it. You were a little bit too tolerant in here.

Thanks for the comment. I understand your point, or at least I think I do, but my skin is thicker than that. I don’t take things like that as an insult. And I’m sure he didn’t mean it like that. The atmosphere was friendly IMO. Sometimes there are language barriers and we just have to cope. Better to keep the good mood going on than get offended, you see.

@@RautaMetal Yes, of course, you are perfectly right and nobody is being over-dramatic in any way. All I am saying is that you should have helped him a little bit with the maturing process. In an "equally friendly" manner, of course :) :) :) Otherwise, great interview!!!

Sounda like the only one who should go f*ck himself is you, for having no sense of humour. Simon is one of the nicest metalheads that I have met. You need to grow some thicker skin.

And also, the interviewer DID start out the interview by making fun og the Danish language in a condescening manner (trying to be funny or not). I mean, who starts an interview like that? It set a tone that Simon just followed.
