Finallyyyy! Been waiting for this omg u guys should also check his b-sides from Bambi, ‘All I Got’ and ‘Cry For Love’ i swear you won’t regret it (color codes lyrics video). His vocal range in these songs almost the same with mariah carey’s! Insane!! He doesn’t have any promotion for this album since he literally released this then enlist to military right after. But he nailed singing this on vlive while eating strawberries out of nowhere. Baekhyun’s crazy vocal is on another level.

"I like Baekhyun's style, but D.O's voice more" Well, BAEKHYUN had a long way until he found his "color" ( D.O said , this is Baekhyun's color) He started with vocal and piano lessons with a famous korean rock singer, then he switched it to #EXO style, hip- hop- r&b- blues like , he experienced with "UN Village " and "Candy" and, after over 3 years of vocal lessons with private teacher, he released "Bambi" . Yes, we agree with D.O, this is Baekhyun's own fitting style ! On the other hand, D.O had always r&b voice since he started singing in the school , his voice was trained by SM in this direction, for the perfect ad libs and runs, but behind doors, he enjoyed singing unplugged very comfortable, accompanied only by Chanyeol's guitar , he likes his music very simple, without choreography. The same we notice by the others too, everyone has distinctive voice and music preferences: CHEN started to sing as a kid ( both parents are vocals) , was part of a rock band in the school, has the most powerful and skilled voice in EXO, but he released two ballads albums, very cozy ( curious about the next one) SUHO trained a few years, was prepared to debute with Shinee ( different style compared with EXO), released a ballad album and ended up with the second one with a british rock- indie style, his type of music KAI wasn't concentrated on vocals much, in fact, he often had rap lines in EXO songs, then surprised us with two r&b- hip hop albums ( r&b is his favourite genre, he said) CHANYEOL will be hard to guess witch direction his album will take , he thought he will debute in a rock band under SM, but the company had other plans for him and gave him a rap coach, he debuted as main rapper in EXO, taking a hip- hop direction with the subunit EXO SC, but his voice is on another path, experiencing different vocal styles, even musical ( he's back from the military in 3 months and already preparing for solo debut, also curious about it!) LAY does everything now, he sings and raps amazingly, although he mostly trained for the dance line, he writes and produce his own music now , he is CEO of 4 ( four) companies in China !! XIUMIN was selected as a singer, but debuted in the dance line, despite his sweet voice, he always had less vocal lines, then he experienced a lot with EXO CBX ( hip hop, dance, funky style), he is the next to be announce for solo debut ( again, curious about his music style) SEHUN was always the rapper, he developed into a melodic rap over the years, proved hip- hop skills with the subunit, started to take private vocal lessons ( same coach as Baekhyun and Chanyeol), surprised us with vocal lines in the last EXO album and pointed out to a future solo debut (his style?! I won't try to guess) Short to speak, everyone has different type of voice and style, but are blending so well together!!

All of them are good and talented but EXO Baekhyun is my favorite soloist, i love his voice so much🫶🏻

Love the new haircut!!! I love all of the solo work in EXO, but I have to admit, there isn't one instance where the title track is my favorite track off their albums. I think you need to dive deeper into their albums and check out their B-sides to make a judgement on favorite soloist. They have very distinct genres of music, so I am doubtful you will vibe with all of them, but I think you can still appreciate their vocal prowess, nonetheless. My fav Baekhyun title track and MV is Get You Alone, HANDS DOWN. Certified Bop. For Vocal flexing, check out All I Got, and Cry For Love. For D.O. check out "I'm Gonna Love You" and/or "Si Fueras Mia". Also, you have to react to a lyric video for his song "Tell Me What Is Love"...a collab with his vocal coach. R&B GOLD. This was another fab reaction, love you guys!

Baekhyun is one of my favorite singers in kpop. Not only does he have a great voice, but the music he makes is great too! Him and Suho have my favorite solo albums of the Exo members, although D.O., Kai, and Lay are up there as well. I'll add to the requests for All I Got and Cry For Love (lyric videos), both great b-sides from the Bambi ep that really show off Baekhyun's vocal ability. Also recommend UN Village and Get You Alone (mvs), both fantastic songs but completely different vibes.

Why am I listening to Bambi about to cry like I haven't heard this damn song a thousand times I miss Baekhyun he put his whole entire being into this concept and song and just dipped to do military service

That's EXO, the moment you mentioned you like one member, the remaining 8 will wreck you with their charms and you'll get confused and end up saying 'I like them all but my bias is....'. EXO L thing. We can switch to any member based on our mood of music because as they said, 'We Are One' 🤭. 9 of them are different but uniquely blend together as a group giving us their very own sound. They give us a different vibe thru their solos and units. I am still eager to watch them grow after 10 years. For me, as much as i like D.O. , my personal favorite album is Kai's. I mean, who can deny his persona. The album made me smile is Suho's. The album made me confused since when I like hip hop things are EXO SC 😂. I also love Lay's attempts in all of his production. The album I surprisingly like is EXO CBX's. See, not the 3 main vocals but not because their albums are not good.. it's just, I am not surprised they are good..but with the other members, I can proudly say, the albums are worth listening to. They just hit their 10years. More years to come and grow. 💪

Baekhyun's 4th solo album and title track is called "Bambi" for multiple reasons. One reason is because one of Baekhyun's nicknames he has been given by some of his fans is Bambi. Fans say he looks cute like a doe-eyed deer. This album is meant to be a gift for fans because he was about to enlisting in the military and he wanted to give us something to keep us company while he is away for 18 months serving his country. However, the song is more about the fact that Bambi refers to "night rain" as you see he talks about in the lyrics -- right, it's a play on words in Korean -- Bam as in night and bi as in rain. And in English, Bambi refers to a woman with long legs -- and that is where the name for the Disney character comes from -- which is also the nickname of the character/woman Baekhyun is talking about in the song. :D However, the song has very little, if anything, to do with the Disney movie -- the cute little deer with the same name, isn't really even connected to the song. (In western pop culture the name Bambi is given to female characters in novels and movies because it is used as a metaphor for her sexual appeal and appearance. That is why Disney chose that name for the deer in their story because it was a play on the fact that Bambi has long legs and big doe-eyes like a voluptuous woman. :D So Baekhyun is not talking about a deer in the song, but he is using it as a nickname for the woman he is singing about.) As a member of EXO, Baekhyun's superpower is the ability to control light. So, what you see happening in the tunnel isn't supposed to be fireworks, but it's supposed to be the explosion of light bulbs, etc. because his passion -- as manifested through his epic high note -- makes him lose control of his powers, etc. I think Tinkerbell in the lyrics is supposed to be a reference to the fact that she is a little fairy that is often represented by the twinkle of light, which is also a metaphor for how he sees the woman he is singing about. Like a fairy, the woman lights up his life. Which, if you want to connect it to EXO's storyline, also could be a reference to the heart of the Tree of Life. The woman in EXO's songs is often thought to be a metaphor and physical representation of the Tree of Life. That is why the members are always trying to save the girl or protect her, or they talk about being controlled by the power of the woman or they are worried about their passion destroying her, etc. It's EXO's job to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force. EXO was sent to Earth on a mission to finding the two halves of the tree and reuniting them in order to restore peace in the world. The two halves of the tree -- EXO-K (Korean) represents one half and EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese) represents the other half -- were originally separated in order to keep the Red Force from gaining control. However, now, in order to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, EXO needs to defeat the Red Force and find where the two halves of the tree have been hidden. So on that note, I think that the train theme is somehow connected to SuperM's/EXO's storyline, however, I am not sure how yet. All I know is that, we see SuperM in a subway train in their "100" MV, we see aespa also in a subway train in their debut "Black Mamba" MV and we see SHINee in an old train station in their "Don't Call Me" MV. We even see Kai on train tracks in his "Film: Kai" solo debut teaser video during his "Amnesia" section of the video and people on a subway train platform as it transitions to his song "Mmmh." And before that we saw Key from SHINee in a subway train in his solo debut song "One of Those Nights." And if we go back even further, you see EXO on train tracks in their "Love Me Right" MV and EXO-CBX (which Baekhyun is also a member of) on train tracks in their "Horololo" MV, etc. And because Baekhyun is the leader of SuperM and a member of EXO, that usually means it's connected to SM's Universe. Fun fact: Baekhyun isn't even part of the dance line in EXO, and when he first debuted he was considered one of the weaker dancers. However, as you can see, he has now become one of the members who is known for his dancing, as well as his vocals. And the EXO members say, he is now the quickest out of all of them to memorize the choreography.

Actually, Luhan was the "deer", not Baekhyun 🤔 and I am pretty sure that there's no connection between SuperM concept and Baekhyun's solo , in SuperM, only Kai is showing his EXO superpower, pretty sure without an intentional connection with EXO

@@danaxol No in SuperM Baekhyun also shows his light superpower a lot across multiple MVs. When we see him speeding away in the car in "Jopping" there is a giant streak of light trailing behind them as we see all the members together driving in the desert, which represents Baekhyun's power of light being used to supercharge the car. Also in "100" we see Baekhyun standing in front of an epic sunset or sunrise as he belts that high note, which is representing his power of light. And in "One (Monster & Infinity)" we see the explosion of fireworks in the background during Baekhyun and Ten's high note, which is a representation of his power of light just like in "Bambi," etc. Yes Luhan has the nickname associated with a deer. However, since then, some fans have also given Baekhyun the Bambi nickname as well.

@@milindawilson9175 well, if every light effect and fireworks would represent Baekhyun's power, then we have a problem, every MV has it, for example, D.O's ''Rose'' or EXO SC's ''Closer to You''. It's nice to know their concept with superpowers, it's fun to speculate about it, but let's not exagerate, there are many concept theories that circulate around, we need to separate it from the reality 😆

@@danaxol Yep and I would bet money that in the larger scheme of things SM has planned a lot more of the things you see in their MVs to connect than you think. Just because you don't buy into it, doesn't mean it's not true. I am not saying every one of them are connected to Baekhyun. However, I know for a fact that anything Baekhyun is involved in, when we see something to do with light or a light source of some kind THAT DOES have to do with his powers. Everything SM does is connected, whether you want to follow the storyline or not, that's up to you. SuperM's storyline was specifically designed to connect everything it does to EXO's storyline, so there is no doubt in my mind that because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, that you will see BOTH of them using their powers throughout everything that has to do with SuperM's story and it will all eventually connect to EXO's storyline. Oh and by the way, the explosions you see happening which cause the sparks in D.O.'s "Rose" MV are because he is using his power of force. His blissful love state he is in is causing him to unintentionally lose control of his powers, which is causing explosions, etc. And in "Closer to You" that can be explained by Chanyeol's fire power which has been shown in other MVs to be represented by fireworks, etc. Things my manifest themselves in similar ways but be cause by different things. It all comes back to EXO's storyline and SM's SM Culture Universe that connects all its groups and artists storylines together. And you will be pretty hard pressed to convince me otherwise, unless you can produce something that comes directly from SM that explains it all, because according to Lee SooMan, it's all part of the Universe he has been working to create with his company since the very beginning of SM Entertainment.

Pls next UN village then the Japanese album Get you alone, you will see Baekhyun’s talent. Also All I got and Cry for love is a must. Tks

Baekhyun is my absolute fave voice in kpop. He’s actually so versatile in his style and the way he sings every song differently to fit the song itself. He has live videos for b sides Amusement Park (it was a prerelease from Bambi album) and Love Again (from Delight album). I think you guys would love hearing different styles from him. Thanks for reacting to Baekhyun. Hope you would still continue in the future. There are still so much to dig in about this guy. His discography is so diverse. Actually all his Bsides are even better if you give time to listen to only lyric video. He sang some of his solo works in his first solo concert online last year. It was an amazing concert. The Bambi album are all vocal flexes . Candy he just wanted to have fun but still amazing. City Light album is a masterpiece too especially for someone who made a solo debut. City Lights Bsides are all really good. Japanese album is totally different too , but Get You Alone MV is also very fun but the Bsides especially Drown you will be shocked.

City Lights has UN Village best Bsides for me are Stay Up , Betcha and Diamond. For Delight album Candy the one youve already watched Bsides Bungee, Love Again, Underwater and Ghost. Bambi Bsides best are All I Got and Cry For Love. Japanese album the MV is Get You Alone Bside bests are Drown and Whippin. For collaborations his best are with Loco Young MV, Runner with Raiden and Changmo, Hurt with Seomoontak, and Monroe with Taeyong of NCT etc. OST he has 7 in all.
