I think the only thing in the dressage was the wide hands, looking down, posture and outstretched arms at a couple of points but you did so incredible to even get to this!!! It’s such a dream for soo many including myself 😍👌🏼 you should be so proud ! Xx

The only thing I could really think of as a reason for not being in top 15 could come down to the rider position everything else was spot on but it could have been the open hands and the looking down. Maybe the judges took rider positions into consideration

Wow, I thought the dressage test was fantastic; technically, from the video, the only thing I saw was in the beginning you were looking downwards - but he was definitely in contact throughout the test - appeared during one twenty-meter circle he fell a bit on the forehand - but came back to you, immediately. Unfortunately, way over excited during show jumping; running the fences. Your horse obviously loves cross country - a sport horse all the way! You did fantastic! I think you’ll have seen other comments but I feel like you could really up your dressage score if you got into the habit of looking up more and keep your hands even. It’s hard to change what you’re used to, but I just think it will tidy up the whole picture throughout the test Keep it up!! You’re an amazing young rider❤❤ you should be super proud Your horse is absolutely stunning by the way! Unfortunately, sometimes judges will choose the score by the colour/appearance of the horse too. Super annoying

Your horse is a very pretty mover, but if we are going off the dressage shown in this video you haven’t created a frame for him/her. Your hands are wide and braced down, your reins are moving and stiff. You need to hold him/her in frame (not a rigid frame, but one that gives and supports). This will allow him or her to reach forward through his/her topline and off the hind. I think you are almost there, and a little more time spent learning to move with your horse on the flat would do wonders for your score.

Horse looked great. What did the sheet say you lost marks on? Possibly on rider? You were very busy with the hands. Not in a hash way, you just looked to be really doing a lot of adjusting. That was all I saw. But you are a far better rider than me so I am sure that you can watch the video and compare the judges sheet to see what happened.

I felt the same about my test, getting a 34 I was gutted after watching the video and seeing some tests prior! But unfortunately it comes down to the judges opinion! But your horse is also a coloured so I’m questioning something 👀😂

Shame with the refusal and low dressage score, but you looked great!

Dressage; horse's head held low at one point.. at the halt (it may be the camera angle) looked as though the hind legs not parallel. I believe that the dressage has far too much influence on the overall result. It's very subjective and too dependent on the mood of the judges. It needs to be offset by some system of bonus points awarded by exceptional performances in SJ and CC. ( IMHO )

He or she has big hoves

I know for a fact that your canter transitions were much better than one particular person who scored above you. Everything in this world is political. Right? If you raise your chin a bit it will make your horse seem more on the hunches and lighter on the forehand. Appearance is huge.
