WAZZU fan here, was at the game and there was a long delay after the fumble play before it was called, so fair point on that play. I couldn’t tell from the stands if there was a safety or not, but did hear the refs call fwd progress at the 1. Found a video today and took a closer look. It appears to me that contact was initiated outside of the end zone and the force of the tackle carried him in. I suppose you could argue that he was carried into the end zone by his own momentum, but even then I don’t think this was as egregious a “missed” call as you are saying. That said, WSU had to file a lawsuit last Friday against the PAC-12 commissioner and the departing PAC-12 schools to keep them from attempting to dissolve the conference and distribute conference assets. WSU’s president flatly refused to call a board meeting when asked for the purpose of addressing the future governance of the PAC-12 and for addressing the status of PAC-12 employees. I.e. The refs. So I doubt there was any bias favoring WSU on the part of the officials or the conference as a whole.

Bad loss. Agreed about the refs. Horrid officiating. And on top of it, former Badger RB Nakia Watson scored the game winning TD....Gotta move on though, as tough as it may be. I'm heading to Madison for the Ohio State game, hoping for a good one. Mordecai definitely showed his medal tonight in the second half. Defense also showed up as well for the most part in the second half too. Turnovers were costly though I must say. Gotta turn the page onto Georgia Southern at home next weekend.
