1972 Monte Carlo. So Carlisle was littered with 70-72 Monte Carlo's because they just hit the 50th year anniversary, usually there's about a 1/4 of these first gens at Carlisle but this year they went nuts because, ya know 50 years n shiii but this one stood out from the rest soooo hear ya go!!!

I sure wish I still had my 72 Monte. It came with a factory 396. The man that ordered it new switched out the 396 for a 454. I bought it in 82 and drove the wheels off that monster...twice. I sold it in 83 and bought it back again in 85. The frame was broken so I had it welded. I just didn't have the time to restore it. It was a RARE order with several factory add ons. Tilt rally steering wheel, tach, factory A.C. , cruise Control, ,8 track Rally wheels and rally steering wheel, a map light on the rearview mirror. I believeit was the only one with all those ,racing suspension. It was a MONSTER!

Man that's awesome, I really wish people ordered these cars with a little more options than they typically did. It seems the only cars left are the bare bones ones. That's a cool story man, glad I could bring a little nostalgia to you. Take it easy man ✌️
That monte has potential, I like the owners vision
Look at Joes awesome bodywork!! The hood fits perfect! Joes the man .

@@theshark2804 its a flu, a flu with a political charge, most of us have a 99 percent recovery rate except for infants, decerped old people and people with poor immune systems. you want to beat this thing, give it to everybody and let it run its course. ether way, a rag with 2 strings is not going to make this thing magically go away. not to mention i had it back in February and i was back to my normal routine after 5 or 6 days, yes it was brutal, but not once did i feel like i was in danger of a terminal illness.
