For those who don't know what Can your Pet? is, it is a troll Virtual Pet Game that makes you THINK you're raising a pet to love...but...its actually quite a grim joke game... - The title itself makes it look like it is asking "Can your pet do this?" - You hatch an egg & a little chick pops out. - At 1st, you can feed it, & shower it. After a while you can unlock more stuff to play with the chick. - However, the games console & trophy are still locked. - Eventually you unlock a bike. But when you click on the bike, the image flips upside-down & is revealed to be a meat grinder & your chick pet is literally grinded up alive with gore everywhere 😱 - It then shows the chick organs falling down the credits screen & actual stills of how chickens are butcherd. - The post credits reveal a conveyer belt with a can & the organs fall into it, & it says "Can your Pet?" It actually meant to Can your Pet! To give them the axe!

Tanukis, also known as raccoon dogs, are very much real and can be found in Japan. I think you were thinking of (one of the many) shape shifting Yokai known as the Tanuki (based on the same animal).

It still amuses me to this day that they went after the Tanooki suit. If they made a game about how Mario stomps on turtles and kicks them about they'd at least have a leg of some kind to stand on. It would be a weak leg but it wouldn't be non existent.

I really hate how unaccurate these games are. The tanuki suit is a costume, pokemon and people are equals, pokemon battles are seen as a sport, and for the love of God, don't make cooking mama look like a psycho. Meat is more enriched with protein anyways, so its healthier. They could've added Tofu Boy as a boss to mock PETA, and when you kill him he explodes. And this is why I eat steak.

As someone who's from Michigan (seriously why is it always Michigan?) that actually has me really fuckin upset. Lack of clean water is an EVERYONE problem, PETA? Are you going to refuse to provide aid to an impoverished third world country on the sole basis that they eat meat, PETA? (To be fair, you CAN eat vegan options relatively cheaply and still get required nutritional intake. I've played cooking mama mama kills animals many times when i was a child, i even got jumpsacred by the intro and pretty much scarred from playing any cooking mama games but never knew the game was made by peta.

I remember playing that Peta version of cooking mamma as a little kid and I didn't take anything from it. To me it was just a game that was fun to play. And my sisters and I would try and see who can beat the game the fastest. We never even read all that extra text in there. Great job Peta, you've appealed to kids.

Everybody who played pokemon red white and blue when they were young thinking it was a perfectly normal pokemon game now have scarred memories like me

The "mama kills animals" game was my childhood☠

I remember playing the cooking mama game as a kid, seeing the blood and the animal cruelty stuff made me avoid cooking mama games for a few years I played the pokemon one too but I didn't understand what was going on lol

I feel like Peter Griffin killing that whale with a forklift was less violent than these games.

yeah.

My sister and I used to play Cooking Mama Peta edition. Like all the time after school on the family computer. We of course didn't understand the meaning at all, we just tried to beat it as fast as possible. It didn't make me vegan but I did learn how fun speedrunning can be.

Its also funny how in Zelda the chickens (can't remember the name) fight back

Bruh Tanuki are real animals XD There's mythical versions of them just like Kitsune but both are real animals lol

After these seeing these games, you just gotta love how PETA has the AUDACITY to demand Sakurai to add their chick mascot in to his game. This is real, they made a petition for this crap to be represented on Smash... It's incredible...

I played the Super Chick Sisters games before (I think I've played more than 1), I loved them although the later levels scared me as they got more bloody and creepy. Thankfully that game didn't have those PETA ads because it was on a Dutch gaming site.

When I was young I had so much fun playing Super Chick Sisters, didn't even know it was from peta but I remember lovin' it (hehe get it?) I remember it as a good gameplay, but maybe its just nostalgia idk haven't played it since

Bro i used to think that the peta cooking momma was the actual version because i didn't even know cooking momma was a real thing so i genuinely loved the peta version because of how dark it was.

For some reason I remember playing something similar to the peta cooking mama game when I was a kid...if the turkey does come to life when you're removing it's insides I'll know I played it, the weirdest part is that if I did play it it was on a kid's flash game website like girls go games since that's the only type of games I played when I was younger

Cooking Mama : Mama Kills Animals was actually the first Cooking Mama game I played as a KID!

The cooking mama one actually traumatized me at a yung age and i though all cookin mama games were like the peta one.

I played Cooking Mama as a kid, But this... Is just a nightmare!

Fun Fact in 2020 peta gave an award to cooking mama cookstar for having a veggietarion mode

Here's something you forgot to mention, Conner: Super Tofu Boy was so bad that even the creators of the game decided to make a joke character named Tofu Boy and they added him in Super Meat Boy on December 8th, 2010. To unlock him, you have to type in (And no, I'm not making this up) "petaphile" in the character select screen itself. Yeah, even the creators of Super Meat Boy wanted to have a laugh at PETA. It's a price to pay for making a crappy parody game for the sole reason of protecting those animals even though they've probably done more harm than good.

To be honest im just glad that they didn't put N in the other Pokemon one. They put Ghetsis in it, which... makes sense kinda. But I'm glad they didn't massacre my boy.

They even managed to fuck THAT up, and instead of, yknow, properly researching the characters, they just threw in their own agendas. PETA actually managed to contradict a villain that would've been perfect for the message they were trying to push. Im baffled
