I really was disappointed by this album but Noah’s performance on it definitely blew me away. Credit where credit is due.

If so, I felt the same way but when I took that bias away and listened to the album just for what it was, it quickly became my favourite album ever. It is a pure masterpiece, the best selection of music I've ever heard, truly unbelievable and yes, Noah's vocals are ridiculously good, not sure there is anyone better right now

He used his (or a friend's) dog (Harper) and recorded her barks and then put them in the song (those pitched down sounds that go down in like a scale and are like individual notes from a minor chord)

The fact that dude was producing and playing guitar for other bands before even realising he could be a lead vocalist with that vocal talent is insane!
If you pay close attention to the little nuances in his voice, you can tell this was done live with little to no vocal effects. I was at Blue Ridge filling in for another band on drums, and I got to see Bad Omens play side stage. Noah is nothing short of incredible live, and I am officially a new fan of the band.

You are correct all I hear is reverb and a little delay added at times but it's definitely live vocals.

@@erichawsey2700 I noticed something. At 1:09-1:10 he missed a note and it was just a tiny bit flat, so he adjusted his right ear piece a little. Pretty hard to catch but also I may be completely wrong here- at 1:43 he lifts up his shirt and adjusts the mic in his back pocket. I wonder if this is the reason the sound changes and I think its actually Noah making some of the "mmmm" sounds into the mic, along with other instruments? It just sounds totally different with the mic echoing. I watched this a 100 times trying to figure it out lol. But, ultimately can we just say Noah's vibrato is on point? Its so good.
The fact he can shift his voice from so soft to just insane metal is absolutely mind blowing...
His stage presence is so bloody attractive 😂

This is my favorite band. Ever. I'm 33 years old and this is just incredible. Their entire discography is flawless. I finally understand when someone says "this band saved my life"

36 yr old mama here -- same. I grew up in the numetal era. I was listening to Korn and Slipknot when I was 11. This guy is like Chester and Maynard mashed up who can scream like Corey. It's so awesome.

Anyone else notice the last "Loves the Death" scream at the end just sounded different? 3:34 In a good way. Pushed it a little higher and projection was insane. Noah is a fucking beast.

Yes, I think I may be totally wrong on this but the difference in the mic from the start of the song changes. At 1:43 Noah lifts up his shirt and adjusts his mic. I dont know if hes changing the volume for himself or changing the mic sounds. But, hes beautiful none the less.
This must be the cleanest stage I have ever seen and their formal appearance makes this fit perfectly, lol.
Noah's voice range is incredibly unique. And it sounds so perfect!

To everyone hating on this album because it isn’t “heavy” enough, please realize that “heavy” doesn’t necessarily mean better. It could, but not always. Personally, I think it just depends. While _THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND_ by Bad Omens may not be that heavy of an album, I think most can agree that it’s a very solid piece of work and was executed very well. Give this album a chance and you’ll realize it’s just as good as other renowned albums and is truly a masterpiece.

Noah even said he will continue to experiment with their sound and to not expect the sound of one album to be the same on the next. This makes me super excited because it's like an evolving genre in its own!

The musical genius that this band demonstrates is unbelievable. I admire Noah for his determination and drive to do his own thing and learn how to sing while touring in a the band got signed before they even had any members. Simply amazing. Thank you bad omens

@@presidentnada I strongly disagree, you can’t make an average vocalist sound like this. He has serious talent, that may be fine tuned for live impact but you can’t deny that he’s good underneath it all.
I just discovered this band and I have spent 5 minutes approx. searching who is the female singer in the death of peace of mind. Mindblowing. His voice is just so majestic. And the drums are making me hyped too!
In this live, Noah showed vocals better than in the original recording. Growl at 2:57 gets to goosebumps and causes ear ecstasy 😵💫

Just watched an interview about this song and how it was recorded during Covid. Now they slowly introduce the band members but keep the beginning with that vocal/all electric/synth vibe. So unique and INCREDIBLE. I bow down to their undeniable talent.

Can we all take a minute to appreciate the bands' aesthetic. Noah dresses urban Neo meets corporate office which takes the tats and singing to a whole other level. Everyone else wears clean cut dark clothes. They keep an interesting composure the whole time too. It's just all so well choreographed.
Want to see them live so bad. He's just so fucking amazing. Gave me freaking goosebumps 😶
I think my favorite part is how the guitarist is playing so nonchalantly for the first half and then the beat drops and hes head bangin like crazy.
Criminally underrated. Every performance is flawless.

I remember seeing Bad Omens right after their first album. Small show, literally went up and chatted with Noah. I asked if he would care to smoke and he declined saying this month he quit to try and focus on his clean singing. I guess he did what he set out to do.
