The current state of deep is like a frog in a pan full of water heating up. He doesn't feel unconfortable with the slow increase of temperature, but at some point, he wont be able to handle the heat, and at that point, it will be too late and he will faint. Type soul is heating up, will the devs leave the pan and start to cook?

Honestly my main problem with the pyre keeper is simply that it was the first legendary weapon for flamecharm we got. I love the weapon and as a hive legendary but i feel like they should have added a base flamecharm legendary weapon first before releasing this. Edit: Forgot to mention tho, they 100% should have play tested it before dropping it. I feel like yayo just wanted a cool hive weapon to use.

i said it a while ago but i think the devs are bored of deepwoken and wanna move onto other things, But they know if they say that outright the game will tank fast. I cant blame them either. Working on one thing for like two or three years gets boring

Whole reason I'm playing Type Soul instead of Deepwoken is because Chime of Conflict punishes you for trying to get better, I don't want to go to the depths after 3 deaths, I play Type Soul because I'm not punished for playing it and can just PvP as much as I want. When I hop on Deep I get off as soon as I lose my 3 skulls.

Tbh type soul progression looks so much worse than deepwoken, you have to either pay real money or do 20 boss raids just for the chance to get a meta magic type/weapon which Deepwoken does do this with legendary weapons but the only attunment that is hard to unlock is ironsing lol

Idk man, at this point is it even worth playing conquest when it drops, like I mean, what are we really getting? A gamemode that just isn’t that interesting? a few oaths that will be novel at first before fading into obscurity? Maybe a new island if we’re lucky? Idk man, it just really doesn’t seem worth it

I honestly don't even think conquest will bump up the players up to 100k. Unless we get as much new overworld/depths content as we did in verse 2, conquest just won't have enough stuff for people who don't have 5+ freinds to do conquest with (like me) ik it will have like 4+ oaths but if we get more oaths like silentheart or saltchemist I don't even think that will be enough. And i'm not gonna ramble more on how the hive origin will probably be useless (its cause of voidwalker)

@@drifter2391Not a random spike but also not normal for deepwoken. It only spiked cuz people were told conquest would come out and it had been dropping since people found out it wasn't even close. It won't come back until conquest is right around the corner and event then it probably will be substantially less since that's what they said in February.

People are saying Deepwoken is dying. It may be but the game will never fully die and get 0 players. The community is too strong and people will soon, as you said, will get bored of Type: Soul. Also I'm still sort of new what were world events supposed to be? The islands are okay but I'm guessing it's not even close to what was promised. Anyways the game will be around for a while because of new players.

This is what happens when you deceive your fanbase with “its not delayed” for nearly 6 months. Type soul is a vastly inferior game to deep but people (including me) are playing it since deep has gotten ZERO content since the maestro bossfight. The bruteskipper was nice but thats it.
