You and Robert Kiyosaki may need to change the wording of the first one since it's confusing what "pay yourself" means. It's not paying indulgences. Quite the opposite. It's paying your FUTURE self first.

Somebody thinks that “pay yourself first” mean go out and buy yourself some nice clothes… But that only makes the shop owner rich. Paying yourself first means invest the money first .. invest in assets that gives you a return of investment

Excellent advice. Outside of inventing something or being an entrepreneur knowledge of taxes is one of the best ways to advance your financial portfolio.

I started saving 20% every paycheck and it has reduced financial stress and feel like a noble person first time in my life lol . Thanks for your advice you are a Gem.

My savings comes out automatically and sends to a separate bank account that I don’t see daily. It’s helped me SO much with saving.

I think intentionality is key to becoming better with money. That's why I've started working on an app that will encourage good financial decisions everyday. Hopefully it'll help a lot of people who fall into this bucket.

Can you suggest any video for basic tax information?

From the first time I listen to this I have been able to work on 1&2 but three is really a hustle.

This is so basic that I find it baffling that people don't know this already

In a normal month (without big expenses) I try to save 50-60% of my income after taxes. Sometimes a bit less, but always at least 40%. But that's only possible because of my relatively low rent. But okay, it's just a percentage. Something like 5% or 10% already could make a huge difference in every household. Building up a buffer. It doesn't matter it goes slowly. Patience pays off. Back in the days I was only able to save a few percent. But it helped me a lot.

Let the youth learn basics like not carry knives, not bully & harass... Then teach them a job is better than benefits ...then teach them financial literacy

@@borntodoit8744 my views are on this basis. If the youth were being supported and learning these vital essential lessons, like emotional intelligence and how it aligns with financial security, and how every other aspect of life aligns, they would have less time to think about carrying knives

@@borntodoit8744 give this idea of bullying some thought, as well as knife carrying, they want something, and they feel threatened and unsafe, therefore, they feel the need to walk around with protection. And bully others for their money, or their device, or ????? It roots stem from a lack of knowledge

Never forget the word "investment" Invest in your self and invest your money in the right things. Secure your future. I invest 90% and remaining 10% for everything else.

i pay bills first because if you dont pay them on time they will cost more with late charges then save up as much as i can for investing.

Your number should be based on your circumstances Calculate your budget By working how much income (u earn) & expenditure (u spend) If it's negative then u can't save u need debt advice If it's zero then u have to increase income or reduce expenditure some how If it's positive then u have a disposable income which u can somehow divide up into savings & investments so money turns into more money

After knowing my expenses and income, I cannot pay myself anything. Everything goes to mandatory expenses. Nice tip: don’t have dogs, they get old and expensive (if you care enough to not just kill them). Internship salary is a joke 😭
