I finished this same kit a couple weeks ago. It has it's problems, but I don't demand perfection. It looks okay as a shelf sitter. I don't do shows or contests.

I ordered the AMT Mach 1 by mistake. When I opened the box I said nope and sent it back and bought the Revell. I built the Steaker Vette 6 months ago and that took a lot of work! It turned out sweet! It just took time. Good video thanks Dart! 😎👍

What a great point you make. I have 2 kits to give you an example of. The amt 67 Mustang GT I screwed up so i turned it into a junker. The mpc County Charger I worked, and worked and worked the body and made a decent looking General Lee. I like the idea of not going into a build planning a junker. Let the kit turn into a junker if that's what's needed. Then have fun with it. Thanks buddy.

Thanks so much stay tuned . This turned into a whole series after this episode. I've got 4 more "bad kits" coming and we are building them each different one I'm building wild one I'm building box stock and the other is a combination of the two. I think I will make this a regular thing every few months build a "bad kit"

Awesome video Dart. Glad to see your using some of my ideas I used on my Mustang and on my diorama... Lol 👍 I have another one of those 007 kits and I think Mars is going to see that one as a rusty as well. I have a feeling it is going to be another junkyard find.. Lol Not sure on the diorama yet...🤔😁 When a kit is a "Bad Kit" you just make it work for you and take it somewhere you would have never went before. I'm going to do all the hole's in this one like you have yours... There might be a some wreckage too... 🤯 Edited: Never mind on the Mustang, Going with the 79 Pontiac Firebird for the rusty build instead... 😁 LLAP 🖖

I purchased the same kit. I opened it up. Two pieces of the body was missing. I couldn’t even use it for parts for. The chassis was warped I sent it back. I went with Lindberg.

Well, I know that somebody makes a resin rear deck lid for the Dart wheelstander. I was gifted one years ago from a friend, so you might be able to find one online…

That mustang is definitely a bad kit, mine came out real bad. I find the 68 Shelby by AMT is super bad too, just did a video on how bad the AMT Daytona is
