Lucky that driver who followed the hit and runner caught them in the end. Glad he didnt have anything important to do and could have the time to follow them all over, my god what a cat and mouse scene. That hit and runner was trying to lose him for sure. He was definately paranoid.

DC driver for the SBTF was an absolute shark on the hunt; to him I say "Thank you for your service to the public" 👍 That SBTF is a colossal maroon who's oblivious to his own faults; going to get someone killed if he doesn't get pulled up on his attitude and roadside education. Hope the had the book thrown at him proper.

Good guy following the hit and run, great job. Disabled guy at 7.25 needs to get the rego and call council, that is huge fine blocking footpath (especially for disability scooters).

Cancel his license for a couple of years… Throw him in the slammer for a bit… ANYTHING to teach him a lesson. What if it had been a high speed crash & the victim had a young child in the back??? I’d love to see what kind of defence he’d come up with in court if that had happened!!!

Just something i have noticed in Adelaide, is that a lot of drivers from that cultural background tend to make illegal turns from the wrong lane across the front of other vehicles so this comes as no surprise…

This episode has to be the episode of the year Scotty! Two ranger dangers. Plenty of bad freeway action and what looks to be sbtf of the year. The DC driver from Tasmania really didn't let the sbtf Suzuki Swift get away with it. Rang the cops on them and stayed on the line whilst following the sbtf Suzuki until the moment that sweet police karma finally caught up with the sbtf Suzuki. And Dexter's catchphrase said it all the moment the police car pounced, "surprise motherf$#&er". That's an almighty job well done to both the dashcammer for the video and you for your famous editing. The victim of whom the sbtf Suzuki ran into would be damn proud of the dashcammer's efforts in bringing about justice. Another round of classic cars in this episode toward the end. Two favorites emerged out of the lot of them. The first was a pale yellow or beige FX Holden sedan with a period correct roof rack. The second was a beige HQ Holden panel van with side windows. Both are hard to come by. You've really hit the jackpot with this episode Scotty!

Pretty sad when the cops don't know how to stay in their own lane when negotiating a Roundabout.

Good chase down for justice. Their lies came so easily. Obviously not the first time they have hit and run. Wonder what else the Police found?

That was the best SBTF I have ever seen, somebody please award the driver something for following them and doing what is right

Pity I couldn't give this episode more LIKES! Best yet. The DC'r who followed the sbtf runner was awesome, the clip was so good I watched a 2nd time! Oh and I love the old timey cars at the end!

6:41 WELL-DONE to this subscriber!! Scotty aired someone driving into me and driving off, they caused a few grand of damage... They didn't realise I was in the car. Had another in a Woolies carpark run into me and drive off and cause $3k damage. EXCELLENT work there mr subscriber !!! 🙂

I commend the driver and passenger from Adelaide that chased down the non registered hit and run driver, however, now days you have to be careful that the other party is not willing to be so ‘amicable’ in this sort of situation. It can go horribly wrong it the party being followed turns out to be aggressive and can do harm. Almost happened to me when I was side swiped by a truck and the truck driver did not want to stop and when cornered, wanted to have a ‘go’. Suffice to say once I pinned him against my car, he had second thoughts; (having a background in the Australian Army helps). Once the Police showed up and I had a dash cam at that time, thing did not look good for the truck driver.😂.

The second ranger clip from Cairns is coming into 100km/h speed zone. It's all too common place now for people locals and tourists to sit in the right hand lane there and block traffic. Still he did act like knob so deserves his spot. Worth mentioning that that's a section of national hwy and even though the Keep Left unless Overtaking signs got removed a few years ago, that law still applies!

It's the famous Railway Roundabout in Hobart. Famous for 1) there being no actual railway in Hobart and 2) it not actually being a roundabout (100% controlled by traffic lights)

Re. the Suzuki Swift - the *MOST IMPORTANT THING* for the police (or other emergency services) is WHERE you are and, if you're moving, which direction you're going, with regular updates. Arguing with the suspects (who knew they were in the wrong, but evidently come from a culture where they expected to just get away with it if they browbeat any witnesses well enough) will get you nowhere - prioritising communication with the operator is far more efficient. Their goal was, at least in part, to keep you talking to THEM so that you couldn't give vital information to the operator in time - and you fell for it. Fortunately, once they started moving again, you were able to give good enough directions that the officer was able to find an intercept point. This goes for impaired drivers as well as hit-and-runs.

a bicycle on the footpath? You can ride on a footpath if you: are a child under the age of 13 are a person 13 and over who is accompanying a child under the age of 13 that's just vic
