It demonstrates why bidirectional cycleways are a poor solution in many cases, however that does not excuse the driver for failing to stop before crossing onto the path. That applies anywhere be it a footpath or cycleway, you have a responsibility to give way when moving from a non-road or road related area onto a road. When you don’t have enough visibility you’re allowed to use your horn to warn oncoming pedestrians and cyclists. It would probably be better to relocate the exit in that situation. The signage is also wrong, there should not be a give way sign at the kerb but a stop sign and stop line at the car park exit.

Lol..we had a B double take out the verandah of a shop in the main street of Gawler, S.A. where I live a while back...and as well as redecorating the verandah, the trailers curtains weren't looking all that pretty, nor was his load. doubtless to say, I think that was the last load he carried working for that company...lol

Thought so , so I all of Australia it’s illegal to do uturns at traffic lights unless there is a Uturn permitted sign , in Victoria several year ago they changed the rule to work the other way so you can unless there’s a Uturn not permitted sign , now Victorian do this in other places and cause problems get confused , people see them doing it and also thinks it’s legal

Don't think I've seen that many sheep in one place here in the UK, even on a farm ...

That 5:08 is actually legal in Victoria but illegal in NSW. Man I wish we had same laws whole country but after this border closing debacles at the drop of a hat, it will never happen. However, the U-turn at traffic lights in Victoria means the U-turner gives way to ALL traffic including the traffic turning left onto the street you are U-turning into, which can on occasion block traffic that just wanted to turn right. Another old rule (traffic lights without turn arrows) was those turning right had right of way over those opposite turning left, now it those turning left have priority over those turning right so traffic will sit in middle of intersection waiting for opposite traffic to clear turning left.

Hi Handsome , so here is the funny part on this there was a standard for the whole country and thats was no turns at lights and is still the same in ALL states and territory's etc in Australia expect VIC who changed the law many years back to be the only state to do this , now we a bunch of Victorians driving around Australia confused why everyone is going off at them and almost crashing every time they come at traffic light ... thansk ;) so change your laws back to match the rest of Australia please :) Happy Easter

If there are lines and you have to cross those line ... you have no right of way - you wait. If there are no lines, (zip merge), the car in-front has right of way. Hi Neil FYI couple thing you got mixed up on re the video you time linked that's not a merge think got confused on the lines , the lines are for the traffic in other direction , the event the issue the 4wd turned into the wrong lane and cut off the Dc car , and other not we do use the term "right of way " in Australia that's an American turn and has a different legal and literal meaning , out laws work on who has to give way , no one ever has right of way here :)

Hi Neil no if you go back to 6:25 and look at the lane marking for the lanes the DC and 4WD were in you will see the 4 was meant to go to the lane with the stopped traffic but they didn’t and moved into the lane they DC was in and forced them to stop and pull left , see they car ahead to the DC when then light went Green they went into the lane 4WD illegally cuts into ie where the DC driver was meant to go too , there was no merge , make sense now ? :) Happy Easter

Ho john FYI no you have misunderstood that clip it’s not a merge the 4WD drove into the wrong lane they were meant to into the lane with stopped traffic see where the car ahead of the Dc went went the light turned green , the Dc was forced into another lane by the 4WD watch again and not the doted lines marking at the start of the clip :)

When I seen "Bad drivers Aus" I was like YAS haha then seen "&Nz" 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, love from down under
