Yes, a large number of these clips show the camera car accelerating into the danger instead of taking their foot off the accelerator, there is also an over use of the horn when simply easing off will be far less stressful

Red light camera went off because he dipped his right side into the right turn lane (which had a red) before going straight ahead

Good spotting actually overlooked that myself I asked the submitter they said they never got a ticket in the mail so the camera reviewer must’ve seen what was going on and didn’t bother to send a ticket

@6KillaBC to add insult to injury, those are usually the very same drivers that speed up (consciously or not) as soon as they get to a nice, wide overtaking lane; preventing anyone from (legally) overtaking them 🤦‍♂️😠

I know makes no sense to that , just slow down and change lanes behind the car in the right and all is safe and Legal , but some just have a Mentality that rather than slow down and wait 2 seconds they must cut someone else off

10:24 - the joys of the balls up known as South Street/Ranford Road/Bannister Road intersection during the construction of the Ranford Road railway station. Happens all the time as the temporary line markings have gradually peeled away, and people in the outside lane to go straight on cannot figure out that they still have to go into the outside line the other side of the lights, even though the lanes are offset.

I know that intersection and people running that stop sign has resulted in some very nasty accidents. They have tried the yellow border to the stop signs and still people ignore them. Maybe blasting TISM whenever a car comes near is the solution.

It’s amazing how so many people in this video just turn like they don’t have a care (or give a f**k about anyone else) in the world & just continue on all while not worrying about the potential for a collision 😳😳😳

Our roads & traffic authority here in NSW aren’t much better so I “feel” for you, although I did see 2 Asian cabbies get into a minor prang today (one “rear-ended” the other) & they both got out & tried their best Jackie Chan impressions, launching karate kicks & punches at each other but almost none connected 😂😂😂. Honestly, it was like watching pro footballers fight, wait.... They basically bitch-slap & then hug each other 🤣🤣🤣. These 2 were “going at it” pretty hard until the cops turned up & what made it funnier was neither were speaking English when asked for their details so they both got cuffed & taken away 😝😝😝

You just knew it was gonna be a Merc driver do something stupid like shooting down the bike lane... And congrats on the big 250, Scotty!

At 1:50 this boils my piss. It seems to be the usual breeds of cars. I wonder if they dont teach the road rule about distances for indicating theses days. I reckon I see this a few dozen times a week. And the nitwit at 11:00, couldn't even get the proper finger! Another great compilation Scotty!

10:59 for anyone confused on this one it was actually straight from a RIGHT turn lane not left. the little black car, not sure if its a yaris or something that is stopped next to the little red car is in the second of the 2 right turn lanes, then continues on straight.

6:13 The reason the red light camera went off in the SBTF clip, is that the camera driver swerved half into the right turn lane to escape the drug addled lunatic who was attacking him. (right turn arrow was red) Not sure if the poor bloke will get a fine in the mail, but it wouldn't surprise me. If he hasn't reported the incident to the police already, he definately should.

1.46 my parents were involved in a head on collision on that road, the other party was on meth and alcohol, in a hire car with no licence (his partner hired the car and he was disqualified for four years) and then tried to tell the cops he wasnt driving. luckily there were many witnesses to him getting out of the drivers seat. he ended up with 'community service' such is our legal system being a legal system not a justice system

Wonder how the blitz on australia day will turn out on dash cam. Hopefully there are no fatalities this year.

4:30 should get the pedestrian to pay for the damage. They ran out in front. Then again the second car shouldn't have been following so close. If the ped got hit or close to it maybe they'd learn not to run out in front of traffic. Here's a lesson for SOME pedestrians a vehicle has to stop for a pedestrian if there is a pedestrian crossover ONLY when approaching/entering a roundabout. When the vehicle is EXITING the roundabout the pedestrian must wait. A vehicle CANNOT stop on a roundabout.

I have fond memories working with F-wits bragging about cutting off the guy with the newest looking car at the exit to jump queue and save a few minutes during the commute. World is full of these winey people who end up with high insurance rates and numerous violations to pay for. Surely, "normal" is defined as whatever the average person does in a particular scenario, irrespective of what they know they _should_ be doing in that situation; i.e. the definition of "normal" varies over time?

Yes most cameras have a file in the SD car for continuing recording if you press the save button it save a block eg 1min or 3 mins into another folder that will not be overwritten like the other videos when the SD if full :)
