Have you ever seen a poster design out in public that was so bad it was physically painful to look at? Well, here's a bad poster design (inspired by some bad poster designs I've seen over my career) turned into something much, much better.
Some of the things I improved from the original design:
- Fixing typos
- Eliminating unnecessary information
- Choosing more appropriate typefaces
- Adjusting text sizes for consistency
- Aligning text
- Creating a visual flow to the composition
- Adding visually appealing colours
- Prioritizing visual hierarchy
- Creating an eye catching design that will stand out in public spaces
