the young one keeps him youngbin mind and body- he loves the attention- till it goes too far.

This playfulness that dogs can have with each other is why it can be so rewarding to have two dogs so they can play. CUTE !

@@TheGreySage0 I know- dachs= badger. Dachs also means thatch, like a thatched roof. There you go a word even many Germans today don't know the meaning of.

Haha clearly you are unfamiliar with the breed. My Teckel is as stubborn, driven, energetic and motivated to be the best and fastest at everything! Many do not have this "off switch" you speak of 😂

Cute dogs and good video. My doxie turned 12 today. She still likes to play with her toys and talk back at me.

I've always had doxies during my adult life. My baby now is Lulu (Lulumaikalani), a mini black/tan longhair who will be 6 yrs old April 17. She rules this house. So loving, gentle, great with all people, kids, animals, etc. Doxies are little clowns. I absolutely LOVE your video. Priceless!

It's very chaotic at times. But they're sweethearts and we love them. All but one are rescues. We have two chiweenies (dachshund/chihuahua mix) brothers that are two, two long haired purebreds (one is a large standard, the other a mini), two docker brothers (dachshund/cocker spaniel mix) that are 5 months, and we recently rescued a 7 year old senior who was surrendered by his owners.

My oldest is afraid of nothing! Not the biggest, baddest dog in the neighborhood nor is he afraid of any human. This has gotten him into serious trouble in the past with my daughter's dogs. My other little guy is different but he comes from a line of breeding that bred for the prettiness and colors rather than the temperament. He is a little princess! I love both of them terribly!

My 2 standard Dachshunds have apprenticed a Chorkie puppy in all things annoying that they do. She is a star pupil & I never thought that I'd ever have to tell 3 dogs "Hey! I said NO war faces!" as they scuffle for pack dominance.

I had a Husky and a chihuahua, they used to play like this but when the Husky got over it he would sit on the chihuahua. He would just cry until someone came and rescued him hahaha

I have a 11 year old dachshund that was paralyzed in his back legs while playing rough with my daughters plott hound. He was 5 then and he's still paralyzed and he still likes to take on the bigger dog.

Lol Mr Pepper has quite a personality!

Our dogs play fight like this all the time. It's super cute, but can get annoying during dinner! Nice that they tire each other out though instead of us having to take them on long walks all the time and such.

Patrick is staying as far away as he can from Pepper and Margo.

POOR kitty has to endure those two big lugs and try to survive in a whirlwind environment of playful fighting. Not a cats real preference I think but all of them are just beautiful.

Mr Pepper is so naughty- means he is very healthy. And so is his older buddy- keeps him young. This happened too when we got our first teckel and she was so naughty to our 13 yr old, but the older one loved the attention (most of the time or when pooped- the grumps set in).

0:58 he finally has the toy and then takes the way of most resistance to try and get away :)
