Bad Crash! RC Plane Turbine Jet Dassault Rafale Crashes at Flight Show

The 1:5 scale Dassault Rafale RC plane has excellent flight characteristics and is equipped with an extremely powerful turbine that gives the RC jet a thrust of 32 kiloponds. In addition, the aircraft features vector controls that allow the RC model to turn virtually on the spot in the air, make extremely tight turns, or remain stationary, hovering just above the ground.
This allows the RC Jet a spectacular flight pattern. Simply breathtaking as the RC Dassault Rafale flies through the air. In addition, there is the fascinating sound of a turbine-powered model airplane.After take-off, the RC plane flies a few maneuvers and shows what a vector-controlled aircraft can do: For example: vertical climb, spin, aircraft turns 180 or 360 degrees on the spot or hovering just above the ground.
But then it happens. Exactly while hovering just above the ground, the RC plane crashes. The cause of the crash is unclear.In the crash, the rudder breaks off and the winglets on the wing tips are damaged.Luckily the plane didn't burst into flames after the crash and the pilot and his helpers were able to quickly recover the RC jet.

Incredible flight display at low altitude. I’m quite surprised at the negative comments, surely from those who could never fly at this level. Definitely dangerous for spectators but they should be aware of the risks and keep their eyes on what’s going on if they choose to attend such demonstrations. Low level flying is always more fun to see than a tiny jet way up. This is why people go to full scale air shows after all. Speaking from a background of flying full scale fighters, NOTHING is more demanding or exhilarating than flying at tree top level. Kudos to the pilot of this jet. The video alone is worth the price he paid.

Too bad he didn't destroy it. That was reckless flying. High speed low passes and flying toward the pits. How's he going to feel when he kills someone?
Imagine pitot tubes were that large (in scale) in real life
Kudos to the pilot, if your not crashing your not gaining any more experience , the power to weight ratio on this model was epic to watch, as it began to drift past the fence I was like ohhh noo is that him at full chat he's loosing it he's loosing it then out of no where its thrusts up in the sky and performs some emense stalling loops, and as far as crashes go I think the pilot made it as smoothe as possible, bit of tlc am sure she'll fly again, also thankyou to the cameraman

Good for you fly it within the scale envelope
Skilled pilot- put out on a capturing performance/demonstration. Sadly -maneuvering so close to the ground leaves no buffer for error.

Excellent flying and really beautiful Bird. I would prefer this crash any day, compared to conventional crashes😅😅😅😅 crashing at zero airspeed, and zero ground speed😁😁, just 1m altitude crash🤩🤩🤩thank God The flight agression plus being told it will crash, made it kind of exiting and scary to watch😅😅

yes, that's right. A good, experienced pilot. despite of the crash. But that can happen to the best rc pilot. The price for the plane is around €5000 -6000€, without the engine. For the turbine around another extra 3000 €

Saw that coming after the first sloppy hover... Guys rely too heavily on those gyros, and forget basic principles. Always have a least a little AOA for control/lift.

Practice makes perfect.... overinputs I've found are ....too much time on the simulator.... they are good.... but nothing better than real stick time... should be flying again soon... as a good friend of mine says (Horizon Hobby pilot) 'Just Fly'.....

Nowadays it's got to crash to be entertaining. Good flying isn't enough so unless you're a really crap pilot don't bother showing up at a display.
