Hi, Andres. Thanks for breaking down the Broadway grosses for us. I, too, check the box--office and theorize why a certain show's revenue rises or drops on certain weeks. At this point, all the shows (including the new hits) are just hoping to stay open so as to get as many Tony nom's as possible on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. From there, their press departments are tasked with spinning their nominations into ticket sales. Keep posting your fun and informative analysis. I love the "biz" of show!

I’m a nyc based playwright and director, member of the SSDC and WGA. I have tons of friends on Broadway both on stage and behind the scenes. I’ve been a theatergoer for 50 years. Your opinions are flawed, incoherent and illogical.

Uh, maybe not. Any number of absolute flops were Tony winners. Besides which, a lot of excellent shows aren't doing well in the current environment.
