I don't get the whole comparrison thing. "The first two will never be defeated." it's not a battle, lol. I don't go into sequels with that sort of mindset. I don't expect them to "defeat" the previous one. I just expect them to deliver something similar while also being different, then just appreciate it for what it is.

1995 original was the best the sequal from 2003 was not as good as it was too excessive and was offensive the original was not like that at all.

Maybe enough time has passed for them to be more appreciated, but 1 got mediocre reviews, while 2 got terrible reviews. 3 got better reviews, citing the fact there's an actual story to it, and actual acting & character development from both Martin & Will.
