Bad Apple!! is the most widely known song of the Touhouverse, despite being the remix of a little known stage theme from Touhou 4 Lotus Land Story. Touhou 1-5 are the 'PC-98 era', a strange bubble of old games that most people ignore, with the true beginning of the series being Touhou 6 : the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Most of the characters in the PV are also from this later 'Windows era', only a handful survived the transition.
