I’ve always been fascinated by small ponds for some reason.

I came from your cruise ship Gopro Video and saw that you have also Pond Videos. Nice. But i am commenting, because i REALLY did not expect some old Crystal Castles lol :D 2008. Thanks for this Nostalgia. I think a have to give the first Kap Bambino a spin now, haha.

Thanks. They are European minnows. I had caught them as fry from the local stream and put them in the pond to check if the pond could work. I kept them until adulthood and then released them back to the stream. Great little fishes.

Casi los dos. Hay un puente en éste lugar. Mis antepasados habían construido el estanque para que sus animales tengan agua para tomar todo el año. Lo usaban también para enfriar las sandías en el verano(el agua no supera los 16 grados todo el año). Así que el estanque está allí por más de 100 años. Mi padre y yo hacemos sólo el mantenimiento. La vegetación alrededor de la casa es tan agresiva que si lo dejas por 2 años, literalmente desaparece.

Hello. Is it not too cold to keep white clouds? Do they breed fast?

hey there. The temperature of the water is low even in summer but never below zero (winter). The white cloud Mountain Minnows prefer that than warmer waters. it seems that best temp for them to breed is around 19 degrees Celsius but the still breed normally in lower temps like in this pond.

@@rraqua1279 during winter night time it drops below 0 Celsius but the water never freezes as there is a small current on the surface and the water coming out of the spring has a stable temp of about 12 degrees

@@OdiFroilan does the surface ever freeze cause my pond is in ireland night time minimum temperature -6 c the surface usually get 2cm ice

@@rraqua1279 no. the surface never freezes cause the water that comes straight from a natural spring is always a few degrees above 0 and it also makes a small current on the surface until the overflow. Ireland is definately much colder than Greece. Do your fish winter normally under those 2 cm of ice?
