Saw Quo in 82,83,84,and 85. An absolutely superb live band.I missed the frantic four getting back together.Must of been in a coma. I temporarily grew out of rock. But never Quo. The epitome of cool. Honest, down to earth, no frills or nonsense rock and roll. God I miss em. Watching this takes me right back.

RIP Alan Lancaster, the original and best.

Lancaster was so cool!!! He left Quo just before I was born, he was the proper rocker of the band, ROCK N ROLL!!!!

Lancasters vocals are some of the best Quo songs

WOW.....after all these years great to hear and see QUO again and again and again.

There's something about Quo , that make put my foot down when I'm driving in my Car. One hell of a band. Take care R

amazing i was only 1 when they did this i went my first gig in 86 at just 3 years old and now 21 years later i am still rockin they are the best and my dad was at this gig

I was there, wasn't gonna miss that for the world. They said they were crap that day, but they were amazing, they were so up for it. Fantastic day. I remember Gary Glitter came on and the plastic bottles that started flying towards the stage was a sight to behold!

Backwater is my fave Status Quo song. No coincidence that it's an Alan Lancaster song. He was the only real rocker in that band, well maybe John Coghlan too. Rossi and Parfitt, when left on their own, only proved themselves to be a couple of wimps,

QUO is the best album they have ever done - It would be good if they did Slow Train live as that was the best song on the album in my opinion.

never knew he sang lead.....he can hold it all down for sure...

Saw them 4 times on this tour. Milton Keynes was an helluva day but their gig at Hammersmith odeon would take some beating. Great venue with a class band.

When Status Quo lost Alan Lancaster, their original bassist, they lost a lot of their energy.

Saw Quo on their Piledriver Hello. and Quo tours in the early to mid 70’s Great band.

Can’t beat this line-up with Alan , Rick and Francis. Pity Alan was booted out for that dopey Rhino !!

been a Quo fan for ever!! it was sad and unfortunate what they did to Alan.... from what i can gather, he is still bitter about it to this day. maybe John saw the light and got out while the getting was good? John was a far better drummer and the band lost some of it's "feel" once he departed.

on the vid looking out over the crowd,you"ll see a end of the road flag being waved,me and my mate were just to the right of the guy holding it.got up on my mates shoulder to try to get on film as you do,and got a steak and kidney pie in the back of me head for my trouble!

В начале 80х я слушал status quо, это был приятный рок н ролл, но знакомый где то надыбал кассету с концертом 1977 года, это была другая музыка, тяжёлая, и вокалист хард роковый. Росси и Парфит попсовики, Ланкастер рокер.

QUO at there best!!

@GuitarGuy5000000000 pete helped them through a difficult period, and done bloody well to fill in when john left, i prefer pete to john, many of you may disagree, but i just prefered his sound, and he was great in this concert, live aid, and at the nec 82

This was the last tour that Quo really were still at their best, after this they deteriorated and ultimatum faded to a very poor representation of just how great they used to be.

This is real quo, not the shit like rocking all over and so on...

John's drumming is sadly missing on Just Take Me.

Pete Kircher is the name of the drummer.

They still use Vox Amps. They route into a Voxamp in the backline and then use Marshall to amplify the sound

Pete Kircher, often overlooked in Quo as he only had a brief stint. Brilliant stand in for John though 🤘🏻

Backwater is great but Just Take Me is magic. This version is my favourite....but only when it's very LOUD. I lost interest after Alan left the image and sound completely changed glad they recorded Milton Keynes. Made a big mistake by not releasing that on record at the time. A real shame....

Sacking John and then Alan was the end of the band for me , never bought their albums after John left and never saw them live again after Alan left !

Status Quo foi uma grande banda de rock com musicas de muitos solos e excelente bateria. Nessa musica o baixista tem uma voz muito fraca. Mas no geral rock muito legal.
