Back then KZread doesn't exist yet. All we do is wait patiently for the Top 10 or 20 countdown on MTV and other music channels, it takes time and effort but the anticipation and fulfillment are priceless. I miss those moments in time.

Never had an issue with still having this mentality, but stupid people both male and female? Nope Being younger thought this song and group were stupid and shitty song, I have been for the last couple days been revisiting the 90s Compared to where we are at now, this was really a good song, they never deserved the hate they got. I miss the mind set back then, I miss no constant issues, gender wars, etc etc etc. We took the 90s for granted and all it is now is a memory. :

I was born 1989 so I got the full effect of the 90s and it really was an INCREDIBLE ERA! My sister is 3 and half years older and I remember LOVING NICK AND MY SISTER LOVED BRIAN.

+Allyson Messina Same here 89 born, I am not a fan of Backstreet boys as a male. But honestly 90s music until the end of 2003 was more diverse and melodical. Not comparable to nowadays.

I listen to K-pop nowadays :) They have very similar style. Try searching for "Gfriend" for example. :) It's really refreshing and similar style. Korea are really stuck in the 90's even MTV and disco still exist there xD. Also did you listen to the backstreet boys new song?

@@Johanneslol11 I listen to K-pop too (e.g. Twice, Red Velvet, Blackpink, BTS, Apink, etc.) just like a lot of youths out there since K-pop scene has now become a worldwide phenomenon. Their catchy songs, incredible dance moves, awesome MVs and stunning visuals have drawn lots of fans across the world. As for Backstreet Boys new songs, yes, I occasionally listen to them, but I prefer their old ones simply because they really suit my taste.

The late 90s-01 boyband invasion was some crazy times they were literally everywhere on Mtv especially taking over the Trl countdowns, had their own parody movie 2gether, wrestling promotion Wcw jumped in on the bandwagon with 3 Count, and a reality show that created the band O-town.
