Backstage Antiques: Antique Clocks

Backstage Antiques is RBTV's premier antique appraisal program. From its inception as an in-studio antique appraisal program in the mid-1980s to its evolution, in the new millennium, into an on-location program featuring the appraisals of items from members of the audience, Backstage Antiques has always drawn the curious eyes of antiquing aficionados. Initially hosted by Kathleen Snyder, owner of Arcade Antiques and Jewelers in Riverside, Illinois, Backstage Antiques, in its first year, explored only one type of antique per episode. The series' fourth episode was the first to feature the appraisals of items from members of the audience. That particular episode's format proved very popular, and in the following years, Backstage Antiques permanently adopted the format of appraising audience members' antique items. Starting in the year 2000, Backstage Antiques moved out of the RBTV studios in order to keep in step with the increasingly large number of audience participants. The 2000 season was taped at the historic Riverside Township Hall, and 2006 seasons were taped at the LaGrange Park Antique Mall. Due to continuing interest in the series, RBTV may pursue a new season of Backstage Antiques in the future.
On this episode the focus is on antique clocks.

God. The way he handles the clocks, letting the pendulums swing all over the place tells me his interests don't go much beyond selling them. This is no clock man.
