Backpacking / Fly Fishing in Colorado for chunky Brooks and Cutts

Спорт

I went to visit my buddy in Colorado to go backpacking. We targeted some lakes that are known to kick out nice fish. It was a super fun trip. We had to deal with some weather but overall, we enjoyed some good fishing and food. Thanks for tagging along on another adventure.

Thank you for sharing! Fishing for trout in the Rocky Mountains is always a special adventure. Man-made lines on a map separating the region into varying states doesn't change the fact that wherever you go in these mountains - this is a trout fly fisherman's paradise!

I do enjoy seeing new mountain ranges. They all have a personality. The cinnamon tooth picks discovery is hilarious! What color bead do you use on the balanced Canadian black?

The cinnamon addition was surprisingly good 😁 I am currently using a 2.8 mm metallic brown tungsten bead for the Canadian black leech. In the past I used Black nickel----either works just fine
