Love to see some analysis from an improving player. I'm just getting started, and can only learn so much from top level BG Galaxy stuff. Cutting razor thin margins on excellent vs perfect plays. Subscribed. Keep it up!!

So glad to hear that, thanks! This was my issue when I started looking for resources when I decided to try and improve. So many books about going from expert to world class and not a ton to guide you through the intermediate stages efficiently.

Enjoyed the video. Like the thinking out loud style. I have a Jacoby question. I understand the rule and how it is only used in money games. Do you know why it is not used in match play?

Thanks! I don't know why, but i think the main purpose behind the rule is to have more doubling, and less playing on. That would reduce the time it takes to play a lot of games, and I guess more cash games per hour is desirable. That's not really a goal for match play.

To analyze a game , or a move , you should really do it in ++ . And especially do not compare moves at different depths, like at 2:45 , comparing a + analysis with a 3ply analysis. If you put both in ++ it will go from 67 to 117.

agree when its close I select both the moves that are mine and the one close to it and hit ++ and see as sometimes my move is superior the the regular XG analysis. you can change the XG settings but of course ++ takes a lot longer to analyze the entire match but if you do it offline BEFORE the video anyways you wont care. but yeah if its withing 0.010 or less then you should check both moves on ++ level
