BACKFLIPS IN BASEBALL?! The Savannah Bananas are CRAZY FUN and will blow your mind!

Ready to see a dancing umpire, a pitcher wearing stilts, a cheerleading squad of grandmothers, a crawling competition for babies, a dog that retrieves baseball bats, topless players with six-pack abs, behind-the-back catches, a pre-game parade with a brass band, and so much more?! Boston Red Sox legend and World Series champion Jonathan Papelbon was there at Grayson Stadium, and he was wearing a kilt!
The Savannah Bananas have officially blown my mind. I've attended nearly 2,000 baseball games, and I've never experienced anything like this. Even the rules are wacky. If a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an OUT! Batters can't bunt or step out of the box, but they CAN steal 1st base. There's a two-hour time limit for the game, and so on. This was like watching baseball on another planet, and here's a bold claim: even if someone thinks baseball is lame, they will love this video and the Savannah Bananas.

It's like a great big family. I love how both teams interact with each other. What a great environment for the family to come and enjoy a game without the stresses of any kind of pennant race.

I don't usually say blessed but we are very fortunate to have one of the greatest shows on Earth and that is not an understatement the bananas are just that I would hope that you can go to one in person because for that small stadium that place is rocking
I found this very apealing, No one split early, I can peel the energy in that place! Everyone saying yellow to each other. Seems like such a fun place!

Love The Savnnah Bananas! I heard about them two yrs ago because of Jomboy visiting.
A great addition to baseball! How many kids will introduce them to a great sport. If MLB take just one thing from what the Bananas have done, the sport will be better for it. Not sure how long the Bananas will last, but they deserve to prosper. So many people having fun!

Banana Ball is the future of Baseball!!!!! I can honestly see some rules of Banana Ball being used in Baseball in the future.
If Robert Andino plays Bananaball vs Papelbon, that would be a rematch worth watching on ESPN.
I remember going to Sand Gnats games as a kid (A affiliate of the Mets at the time) and being one of 10 fans there. To see what the bananas have brought to Savannah and back to Grayson Stadium feels good

I may have been number 11 I would drive up occasionally from Jesup and sitting in an nearly empty Stadium have more people at our high school games bananas changed all that...bananas games are packed.

We have to amit. The Savanna Bananas know to make it more entertaining then MLB was. MLB needs to take notes that Savanna Bananas treat the players and fans right was all about having fun, and have a good time.

Like who does a flip out in the field while trying to catch a baseball and who goes on stilts while pitching a game.
