I worked in the publishing industry, and let me tell you, NOTHING GOES TO PRINT WITHOUT THE AUTHOR'S APPROVAL. There are several back and forths of the "proof" as we call it, basically the manuscript, that go from the author to the publisher so they both can make the necessary changes. The manuscript only goes to print after the official sign off of both. Unless he's saying that the publisher put King Charles' name in without his knowledge and last minute, and by doing so he's opening himself up to lawsuits, Scoobie with the melting face just proved himself yet again a LIAR.

Same here. Proof read, proof read, , proof read, also - with content such as this there is usually vetting by lawyers who will advise if anything can be considered contentious and that could lead to litigation, . It is then up to the author and to the publishing house to make decisions.

Being Dutch and teacher of English as a foreign language. I know for a fact that most Dutch pupils are or have been taught English as a foreign language. Just as their parents were. So I highly doubt that it was error in translation. Great news that it has been pulled as especially MM gained a lot of sympathy in this country. Without people knowing most of the proven facts. So I'm glad that people's eyes hopefully have been opened somewhat and they can see the duo or trio in this case for whom and what they are.

Same here -I’m half asian with Caucasian partner. I look Asian. Mixed race pregnancies are such a lottery - We continued wondering what my children would look like. First one was red/brown haired, brown asian shaped eyes, tan skin with freckles. Second one was blonde hair, blue eyed, fair skinned. If there was 'an error in translation' with the Dutch version, then there would be 'an error in translation' with every other foreign language. The interpreters all get the exact same manuscript. I TOO AM A PUBLISHER of a small magazine. Typos are possible in a print run but the INSERTION of a name is deliberate. It is NOT - repeat NOT - an accident and it is certainly NOT a mid-translation. This is deliberate. Scobie is a lying scoundrel.

I would think the Royals are giving this book a wry smile and going on with their lives. It’s the media who is causing a frenzy.

Kinsey, I love you girl and maybe lawyers have gotten involved in what everybody on the panel is supposed to say; however, it is VERY obvious to everyone who has a brain that a family member talking about future children of H and MM and what those children would look like is absolutely not racist. Only race baiters think otherwise. Call it what it is. Let's remind everyone about the Oprah follow up lie, "In tandem with these conversations, (talking about Archie's skin color) Archie is not going to be given a title or protection." When H later joined the conversation with Oprah, H acted like the "racist" comment happened when he and MM first started dating, so there was no Archie then. When people lie, they forget the details of the lie and ultimately get caught. When you guys make remarks that this puts the RF in a bad position, it just perpetuates H and MM's narrative. In no way does this look bad on the RF.

Spot on. And she brings protection into it, as if to imply it has something to do with skin colour. 🙄 They lost their police protection because they chose to no longer be working Royals. I think she was/is distorting/weaponising an innocent remark to pressure the palace into giving perks that they simply aren’t entitled to. And relying on their spin going unchallenged, due to the RF reluctance to discuss private issues publicly.

I don't think they were tallking about skin color. All they ever talk about is Harry's' hair, his ginger hair, I think someone said something about the kid having a ginger afro and that pissed meghan off. Even on steven cobert he said he was suprised his ginger gene beat out meghan's genes with their kids hair color.

H and M according to Shauna over at the Vintage Read show who has been reviewing it with an attempt to remain unbiased has stated that it is undoubtedly the most vicious attack ever on the RF AND that none of it will stick. the excerpts she's been reading are absolutely disgusting> Lady C has stated on her channel that she believes (and I'm not sure if this has been validated) that Scabies source is Marcus Anderson (MM friend). IF i had a friend, that disclosed my most intimate family concerns and feelings, they would not be my friend, if Marcus is not 'markled' then we know that he has been endorsed by Megs, and that the book has been endorsed by the Harkles. Also if MM does not sue Scabies for slander, then we know for sure that she and Haz are actively involved. at this time its not looking good for all four of them.

I love the Vintage Read. She also did a summary of the book by Samantha Markle, "Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister." She found some things admirable about Samantha and some things questionable. (I don't remember the details exactly).

The Royal Family do not need to worry about this. The world knows how desperate M&H are ... and, by extension, so is their mouthpiece Omid.

I wonder why this supposed release happened in Holland? Perhaps the law there is less likely to have the author sued?

As a retired employee of my father in law , Printing Company nothing goes to print without the ok the customer.

The name was released accidentally on purpose and nothing would be in that book or done without H&M’s approval first. It’s a tissue of lies and twisted gossip designed to inflict damage on the RF. It’s full of inconsistencies because H&M just can’t get their stories straight. Omid states on one hand that H&M would accept an invitation to Sandringham for Christmas, then on the other hand states that Meghan would never set foot in the UK again. Well which one is true, because both statements can’t be? There are many more lies and accusations in this book that have already been debunked by the facts. Too many to cover here, but for starters, Piers should sue. It’s a very libellous statement and I hope litigation lawyers are on it.

Can we just ignore them? No matter what they tell or write, just another story of lies. This book is “Tell the lies , nothing but the lies.

Enough is enough its time to bring the lawyers in and scabie can explain where he got his information from so we will see old meg back in court saying she forgot she mentioned it hahaha

The main people who really know how to hate and by hate I mean boiling with anger hatred are narcissists and they live like that all the time. Most people are pretty set on MM being one and Omid is certainly acting like one. Not 100% sure Harry is one but he has many other problems. MM is so jealous of Catherine and wants to smear and destroy her and hates the RF cos they had rules and said no. It really doesn't take much to set a narcissist off. Heck, some even kill their families when they try to leave them or don't do as they are told. A book written by a mental case (OS) dictated by another mental case (MM). Don't be fooled by the victim playing its just a manipulation tactic. Narcissists can't love, Harry is really nothing to MM, I suppose if you had a bucket at home that you didn't really care about, well that's Harry to MM.

No one will ever convince me that this was done in error. Scoobie would have been told by lawyers in the very first draft what was legally unacceptable to print and what he could and could not publish. Lawyers again would have gone over the final proof book in minute detail before any publishers got their hands on it so to say Holland got the wrong proof of the book is IMO utter BS. Everyone's playing the blame game but at the end of the day those accountable are THE AUTHOR, THE LAWYERS AND THE PUBLISHERS NO ONE ELSE. THEY ALL SIGNED OFF ON THE BOOK GOING TO PRINT THEY ARE ALL CULPRABLE IMO. It's such a shame that they all know the RF will not sue their butts off. If I were the RF I would sue all involved and all the proceeds won which would be in the millions I would divide between all the charities the family support. This country would rejoice and dance in the streets if this was done. These three fowl disturbed individuals IMO need to face extreme consequences for their actions!!

Regardless if it was a mistake or not. That's it, the names are out there and well, it wasn't quite as damaging or devastating as the Markle's hoped was it? Maybe now she can stop the veiled threats, snidey comments and insinuations.

Nothing MM has made it all up for attention & unfortunately she has gotten her wish for the time being. How ever when you throw SH-T out of a speeding car it will come back & wack you in the face. Looks like you are up for a poo face mask MM.

This is just ANOTHER failure for them to add to their long list of many, many other failures!

Does everyone realise the royals have feelings too? Meghan and Harry have made clear they think they are eternal victims. But they are hurling insults to their family for years now, without evidence or facts. The Scobie book has been the worst and reads like very vile high school gossip. The royals too are people, living breathing and feeling people on the other side! What about the stress level, the mental health of the royals? Do you just look at them as punching bags? They are fathers, mothers, people trying to serve, trying to do good. I think their mental health also deserve consideration: I truly feel for Catherine, Charles, William, Camilla and the other members... They truly don't deserve what Scobie is throwing at their heads. It's just a hit-job. This is not OK.

The Press are sensationalising the racist accusation. It was not racist but an innocent observation. We all do this sort of thing all the time, whether it's eyes, skin, hair; so what?
