Unholy Orpheus is a project similar to Quadratum, but with a focus on screaming vocals. That’s why Fuki participated as a featured artist in only one song, 'TRAUMATA,' which I saw them perform live and loved instantly. Incredible song! Hopefully, they will release the MV later. 🤘

It's actually the 2nd song from the album, they released the 1st one almost 2 years ago, when they did not have a band name. Called "want to LIVE" kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4yEt9KsntXek6Q.html The album is the one that was supposed to come out at the same time as "evolution", so you had a heavy and a light album.

Didn't they end up putting want to LIVE last though? So while this is the second release it is coming before want to LIVE on the tracklist :)

It sounds like Melodic Death Metal with violin to me, which actually works really well. I am not necessarily the biggest fan of Shiren's harsh vocals on this one though. Not sure if it's the production/doubling or what it is, I find it very "undefined" sounding for some reason. That said, I am really looking forward to the full album. Also, Fumiya is killing it again on the drums.

I agree with everything, I wonder how he sounds on the album. They made his growling sound kind of... *hollow* Still a cool song though :)

I kind of agree, but I also think he sounded like that before. It's just a lot more noticeable with him being the sole voice.

From the album preview I think he actually sounds very good on other songs. But yea I don't think he has ever had the best harsh vocals, it's not just the mix

I see Fuki will be featured on one song on this album. Anybody know why she is involved here? It seems weird for her to take a break from one band to be work with another (DOLL$BOXX). The violin Jill plays offsets Shren's vocals perfectly.

She's not really taking a break from unlucky morpheus. They're about to start their nationwide tour that doesn't end until mid November, and shiren recently said the production on the next unlucky morpheus album has started.

La canción es excelente tanto en la interpretación como en la técnica.. No me malinterpreten pero se siente la falta de Fuki tanto en la voz oviamente como en algunos aspectos del video que harían a mi parecer más interesante la canción.. Aun así estoy a la espera de las siguientes canciones 🤘🤘

Comparto totalmente, Fuki es el Alma de la banda. Creo que esto es un album aparte porque estan ocupados en otros proyectos... hasta ese lujo se dan jajajaj. Ojala vuelvan a sacar pronto un nuevo album de Unlucky Morpheus !

Really like it instrumentally but the vocals just not for me. However, I’m hoping this all ties into Fuki making new music with Doll$boxx so I have to be happy with that!…

Oh for sure. It’s only one short tour - Doll$boxx is only every a temporary thing and I’m glad they all have their main bands to go back too. My only hope is that there’s new Doll$boxx music for the new tour
