Rich,I hope you get the chance to meet him sometime. I've had the pleasure of meeting him twice and he's the best ever. Wonderful guy....was great with the fans. Happy to be there, joking, having fun with everyone. He was supposed to be sitting down signing autographs, but he was up and in front of the table, talking with everyone, shaking hands, hugging everyone. I have a great pic with him and he puts me in a headlock. Awesome.

Get out and do it while you still can brother, Terry is so worth it! Absolute treasure, every bit the character you would expect from following his wrestling career but also one of the most kind, compassionate, and beautiful people you'll ever meet. Also, man, does he have stories. Just the best...

One of the best ever...Terry was a master in the ring and on the mic. Great psychology. A legend in every regard. Happy to have met him in person twice....couldn't have been nicer, more friendly,or better with the fans when he was there. Was out in front of his table that he was signing at,hugging the fans, taking pics, talking old school wrestling. Awesome. If you ever have a chance to meet him, dont pass up the opportunity.

welcome2havoc he wrestles every style and in every territory from classic to ECW. I can't think of anyone else who was successful and integral in all three major promotions in the nineties. Bam Bam Bigelow was a top star in WWF and ECW but wasted in WCW. Shane Douglas was wasted in WWF and Scott Hall flopped in ECW before it went under. Terry Funk was a top star in all three including his run as NWA champion decades earlier.

To each their own but I stand by that statement, Terry is just head and shoulders above most other performers ever, and I struggle to think of anyone else as good as an all round talent. Heenan pops in my head as being up there, Steve Austin, Brody, Lawler, Arn Anderson... That's about it. Adrian Street popped in my head too but he wasn't as charismatic a talker as you would like IMO

Can the horse be put back in the stable...? I believe it could, I watched a great match on wwe fairly recently involving a little Russian fella and someone else and it was almost a proper wrestler match, I actually started watching thinking wow this is like the old days and I couldn’t turn away. Then they screwed it up, helped each other balance on the top rope so they could some circus move and it completely ruined the whole match. What I do t understand is if the matches are recorded why are they not editing them so we don’t see the camera angle that exposes the move. I think Kevin Dunn or whoever is the editor has lost their passion and quality control

I have masses of respect for both these guys, yet Cornette is man who (rightly) decries ECW and its fans for destroying credibiility and believability and putting wrestlers' bodies at needless risk, but apparently loves the man here who persuaded Mick Foley to let him blow him up with C4 and who was set on fire by same in response.

Also remember, what when Funk and Foley did something, they were the ONLY guys doing it. Mick himself stated that he was incredibly pissed when he was in ECW and he was going to have what was sure to be a bloody match with Funk (Might have been Dreamer or Sandman though, I can't remember exactly) and he asked Paul E to tone things down a little so their match would mean more....then he looks out the curtain and the first match of the card is a "last blood" match where the Last person not bleeding wins.
