5:45 I agree too. Crispin Glover made the movie as did Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. Those 3 actors brought something rare to the movie. The other roles were easier to cast. Lorraine was a hot chick; that's easy to cast. Biff was a bully; that's easy to cast. Strickland was a disciplinarian guy; that's easy to cast. However, the first 3 actors I mentioned must have been difficult to cast. All 3 characters need to be sufficiently nerdy, with George being the most inadequate. Marty needed to have the perfect blend of inadequacy combined with coolness at the same time. Doc needed to have the perfect blend of gravitas and crack pottiness to make the movie work. Those 3 roles must have been extremely difficult to cast and to have all 3 of them together in the same movie must of been even more difficult to realize.

Danny: I know I said that Crispin Glover made the movie but what I meant was, that without him George McFly may have not have been as believable. N&D: We feel that the cast was key for all the characters, that's why this will always be a classic. Lorraine had to be hot enough for biff to want, but sweet enough to be Marty's mom. What he says is true. BTTF1 wouldn't have worked if Lorraine wasn't convincing hot for Mary. That was great acting by the way on the part of Lea Thompson.

My biggest problem with time travel in Science Fiction movies and TV shows is they always get time travel wrong and they used too much CGI and it's not very realistic in today's technology when people from Hollywood are trying to make time travel realistic as possible and it's very lazy. If you are going to ask a company to make time traveling backwards in time real and a science fact like NASA or SPACE-X then you need to find the right scientist and engineers and you need to have the right technology.

Star Trek slingshot around the sun, Superman flew so fast around the Earth that it spun the Earth backwards, and in Back to the Future they used a nuclear powered DeLorean to go back.
