Here is the recording from day 1 of the Google for Education Back to School event for 2024.
As we prepare to kick off the 2024 school year, the Google for Education team is offering a Back to School event to help you get the year started right. The focus will be on designing lessons for a technology enabled classroom, and will provide you with ideas and strategies for ensuring that the technology in your classroom is getting used in engaging and meaningful ways. We’ll also weave a little Google magic throughout as well to show you how Google tools can help support these ideas.
We will start off on Friday January 19 by posing the question “What does effective teaching and learning look like in a technology enabled classroom?” We’ll be sharing ideas about lesson design, and specifically about designing for deeper learning. We want to help you engage and inspire your students, and get the most out of the awesome digital tools and resources available to them.
You’ll have the weekend to let these ideas marinate, and there may be some optional “homework” over the weekend for those that choose to do it.
