    The format is really cozy and organic. I think the friendship moments between the commentary are really charming. It reminds me of my friends. I had a bit of a difficult time focusing on the board. I know not having a board with the moves adds to the cozy vibes but it does change how I absorb the content. I probably would have my own board set up and try to follow along that way if I wanted to fully absorb the lessons. I had a fun time though! Thanks for bringing good vibes ✌️

    A nice comeback victory! In the position at 4:55, as an alternative to Bg3, perhaps Re1 is worth considering. (Of course, this is with the benefit of hindsight, since in the game the e4 pawn was lost.) After Re1, Black's tactic with Nxe4 no longer seems to work, since after Bxe7 Nxc3 Bxd8, Black can't take White's queen because of his back-rank problems.

    I like this format. I have some suggestions to make it even better: 1) Have the move sheet at reach, so you can check the moves if needed. I don't think there's a need to strain and recall every single move and variation from memory. 2) If you have a spare camera and can composite cam-face with board-face, it would look much better. Whatever you do, keep the face-cam. We don't want to miss seeing you! - The 8th and 7th rank were a little out of focus (this is normal, because the focus was on your plane). - At several points, tall pieces on the 8th rank obstruct the vision of other pieces in the same file (e.g. black king blocks vision of black pawn in front). This would be fixed with a different angle. - If you could somehow film the board with an overhead shot (camera above your head, behind you, looking down to the board), we could see the game from the same side you saw it. Congratulations on your hard earned victory!

  • @jeffreywold2329
    @jeffreywold23292 ай бұрын

    I really enjoyed your presentation of Using real pieces!!! Maybe if you are able to raise up your side of the board about 2 inches, it would give us a more friendly angle of chessboard, or a little adjustment on the camera angle. The 8th rank, taller Black "WOODEN" pieces, do block the view, somewhat, of the ♟️'s in front of them. Can't wait to see the next one!!! Good luck🍀

    Thanks for explaining so well, i am only a 1100-1200 player so i actually learn a lot from this. (if i only can remember half of it..) It took me about 5 seconds to find the sacrifice(of course i had to paus the video) but i only found it because you said we would never find it, if i played in this situation i would not see it, because i am extremely unwilling to even think about sacrificing my rooks.( but i think different when i look at puzzles then i do when i actually play(unfortunately)

    @@imeprezime1285 I don`t play that much, so chess.c.. is enough for me, but thanks for the tips. Also maybe the main reason i saw it so fast was because the move we should do was in the center of the board and i knew it was a sacrifice we normally would not do or think about.
