It’s pretty simple, Iain has been winning and improving a ton over the last couple years and isn’t the underdog so people are just going to hate on him for no reason which is a shame. It’s a toxic trait in the “community” but the true fans know how good he is

@@zacbro2841 ya that's true. I'm even guilty of hating Tom Brady for many years all bc he beat my team like almost 20 years ago so instead of appreciating talent I just talked shit lol. I've since matured obviously but do see this in the bodybuilding community. Instead of giving an elite guy credit for his hard work and genetics and all his good traits people will just argue about the one small flaw they think they see!

I respect how you keep going back to education of the sport. Personally I've always been a fan for about 20 years now.not until the episode you and few of the guys broke it down of what the difference between conditioning in shape, and the main one muscle maturity.like I heard people explain it I heard you guys explain it several times but when you went step-by-step and actually showed what muscle maturity look like. On a certain bodybuilder through the years. You and Seth actually are the ones that explained itin a way that made sense and I understood totally. Plus at 35 years old it's like I just woke up one morning and yeah had the quote" baby phat intertwined in the muscle gone. Then it hit me because my whole body look different I was like this is muscle maturity. There's like everything aligned that few days in my life from the podcast of yours the podcast of Seth .and it just so happened around the same time I actually went through the process of muscle maturity. Woke up one morning looked completely different . But in a good way.also I noticed that I lost a little bit of weight like 5 to 7 lbs.it kind of mentally messed with me but how Seth and you described it as the baby fat. Or the intramuscular fat. I was okay with it and obviously the in-state while looking in the mirror. great episode guys. Congratulations again Ian. Bro you got me $3,000. Made the $500 bet with a few friends for the Tampa show.I wasn't about to bet for the Texas cuz I mean no offense but Steve is Steve.

Coming from someone who has just started really following bodybuilding closely over the last 4 years or so, I can 100% say you guys hit the nail on the head when talking about how ppl are just uneducated. When I first started watching and following, I had no idea how many small differences there actually are and how certain shots and certain tiny things really do matter. You guys have to realize that by growing the sport, your going to have a lot of uneducated eyes on you and those are the ppl who are commenting those things ( I think you know this). Just wanted to share my 2 cents on how Ive learned a ton just from the podcasts on what to actually look for. ALL LOVE!

Love the thumbnail pic of Iain that I clicked on for this episode: his physique outline looks bad ass even in all the baggy training gear apparel - at a glance - I had a double-take and thought: DORIAN-esque (I’m aware Iain doesn’t care much for Dorian’s physique - but I definitely mean it as compliment). Congratulations Iain and best of luck the rest of the year!
