@@zTaq Lamar never changed his protections pre-play which means he DIDNT recognize well disguised blitzes pre-play. Mahomes however did on several occasions. There was a Gameplan the Ravens had pre-game to attack blitzes and that was to dink and dunk but Lamar did terrible making adjustments on the Fly pre-play. He Must Get better at this If he wants to win in January. Brady, Manning & Mahomes are all elite at pre-play blitz management.

There are several reasons why the Ravens are not able to win the big ones. The Ravens are an undiciplined team (needless penalties), they have a quarterback who makes poor decisions at critical times (sacks and untimely passes), Jackson seems to always be looking for the “big” play instead of taking what the defense gives him, and they have a head coach who has trouble playing against better coaches. One thing that would really help is if they would move Jackson to a wide receiver position and bring in a quarterback with a little more experience in winning. This might allow them to move to the next level. While the Chiefs didn't play their best, they did win. The definition of a really good team: Even when they play poorly, they still figure out a way to win the important games. By the way, Lamar and Patrick have been in the league the same number of years. Lamar's playoff record is now 2-4. After another Super Bowl win, Patrick's playoff record is 15-3. I think that's case closed on who the real MVP is. I hope the Ravens have a good season again next year. But if they don’t make some serious personnel moves, they will find themselves in the exact same predicament.

Fanboys always counter that you know nothing about football if you challenge one of their opinions or call out one of their heroes. It comes with the territory, I suppose. You were right, by the way: Lamar puts up amazing stats and highlight films in the regular season, but is 2-4 in playoff games and fades when the lights shine brightest. That comes from somebody that has watching football since long before Wann was born.
