It's quite curious how it sounds a lot like a Brazilian bus. Front engine buses with manual transmissions are pretty common here, to this day. Although Caterpillar engines aren't used on-road in Brazil, the 3126 sounds similar to the MWM Acteon 6.12TCE, used on many Volkswagen and some Volvo products, almost always attached to an Eaton transmission.

But I gotta say that my number one all-time favorite bluebird is by far is the mini bird you know the ones with the wheelchairs in the front and back of those different looking bluebird shorty types of buses 👍😎😁

Oh noooooo!!! The back suspension needs looked at from the sound of it. And dare I dream that I'm hearing this as a manual transmission???? :-D

What you're probably hearing is the road noise from the tires, which is normal. The fact that there are no seats in the bus to help dampen the sound, as well as open windows and roof hatches, makes it seem louder than normal. But yes, this bus has a 5 speed Eaton Fuller manual transmission!

I’m glad this bus isn’t paired with the god forsaken AT545, I don’t like how it’s always revving the engine really high at a constant rate unlike the 3000 and even the manuals

I’ve never liked that transmission, it reminds me of the CVTs (Continuous Variable transmission) in the Nissans. Unfortunately our old 99 fs65s in North Carolina has those transmissions rather then the 5 or 6 speed automatic

@@carolinameck Yeah, those ATs suck. Even the 4 speed MTs are better than the ATs
