Back Porch Transformation - Screened Porch to 4 Seasons Room in under 4 minutes!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
When our 2nd child was born, the house got real small! We needed space for our offices as well as some separation from the bedrooms when the kids were asleep. So I went to town on the only space we had left! Enjoy! Please ask any questions you may have!

Glad you showed the HVAC as most people skip this. Looks like an excellent project!

Amazing work! Looking at doing a similar project to my first home. What is an estimate cost wise that I can expect on a project like this?

Thank you! This entire build cost me $8,500, that was for the HVAC and everything! We sold the house about 15 months ago and the added square footage really put some extra money in our pockets!
We live in South Carolina (Myrtle Beach) and we have a screen porch and would love to do something like this to make it 4 season or as close as we can. We have french doors open to the dining room and a window to our bedroom. How does the heater/a/c unit work? I see it at the end of the video.

The ductless mini split, which is a heat pump works amazing and is very quiet! I have a few other videos on my channel about the mini split, check them out! Converting our porch to a enclosed 4 seasons room was the best decision we ever made, we spend most of our time out there! Thank your for watching and for the comment! Good luck with your project!
THAT'S AWESOME!!! Can I ask about how much it was to get done? I have a back patio i'd like to do that to in Texas.

Thank you! I started this at the end of 2019 and finished it at the beginning of 2020, the total cost was $8,500, doing most of the labor myself.
Nice job. Did you re-do the concrete foundation or built it on the existing concrete slab? How thick was your concrete slab?
@justaguy2356

Thank you! I built it on the existing concrete slab. The slab was 5-6 inches thick with steel mesh in the concrete when it was poured.
Great Job! Where did you order the windows from? What were the sizes?

Thanks! I ordered the windows from Window World, the bigger ones are 8ft x 5ft and the smaller ones are 5ft x 5ft.

@@justaguy2356 awesome! Do they come with argon gas Low E for energy efficiency?

@@cyberlabz they absolutely do! I declined that option because I didn’t think I needed it for this space.
