BACK ON THE RIVER - Evening session on June 16th - CHUB Fishing
Join me on the glorious June 16th back on a small local River for a quick evening session. Using both trotting & free-line tactics could I managed to hook a few resident Chub?
It was a beautiful evening for fishing & the River looked in great condition with the banks very overgrown. I was a very happy angler in such beautiful surroundings. Hope you enjoy folks & stay tuned as next weeks upload is a hectic morning Barbel fishing session! all the best YRR

Cheers Mark mate... yeah love free line tactics under the trees... was hoping to get the better Chub on the Stick n pin but think these swims were running a touch to fast on this session... looking forward to your Ribble videos mate, can't wait 😮👍🎣
Great video mate, enjoyed watching that. Nice to see those chub and I can also see by the way you handled them that fish care is your number one priority. Class angling 🎣🎣👍

Nice one mate, love that river and I love how well I know it now that I can recognise each swim your in just by looking at the bushes 😂 some beautiful chub in there.

Yeah mate, this stretch is looking really well this season all the willows have grown loads, hope to get a Barbel this year from here... you been out this season yet mate,?

@@yorkshireriverrover7199. I’ve had one day on the Trent so far, 2 barbel and 2 chub on the float trotting meat, and one on the barbel rod about 7lb. Itching to get on the local soon though
Nice start. Those chub were in good condition. Normally they look a bit raggedy from spawning.

Cheers mate, yeah the Chub looked in good nick didn't they... hopefully can get a Barbel out soon as this River holds some really nice ones but they ain't easy to locate...hope your well pal, u been out much lately?

@@yorkshireriverrover7199 Yep, but the rivers have been up and coloured over here. Lost a couple of barbel on light trotting gear one day. One after a 20 minute fight. I'll be back after them with the appropriate gear.

Cheers man, yeah they didn't want to venture out from the trees on this particular night did they... waders are very handy in this River as u can drop baits on there noses 😂.. thanks for tuning in again pal, all the best 👍🎣

Yeah mate love wading in these small gravel bottom Rivers... keeps you cool in this heat too 😊,... How's your fishing going mate, you after a few Barbel again thus summer? 👍🎣

@@yorkshireriverrover7199 not yet, I’ve let the barbel mad lot get it out of there system first. I’ve only done a couple bits here and there. I’ve been busy with my youngest and a school play. Then my eldest has just done her GCSE’s and had a prom. Hopefully out spinning for a few hours after perch in between dropping my eldest off for a first day at college and then picking her up
