Such an important and chilling essay. In microcosm I was lectured to by my teenage granddaughter recently about how we are destroying the world and what should be done about it. I asked what she personally was doing about it apart from talk. Nothing of course. So I asked her to give me her iPhone as a tangible gesture of her sincerity. Guess what? It’s always someone else’s place to do something about these things it seems. Thank you for framing this in terms that we can use to push back. I’m now 70 and won’t be affected by the tyranny of the WEF etc, but I will never stop pushing back on behalf of my children and grandchildren.

The bill or rights is NOT a document limiting the power of the people. Infact it is in direct contrast to that. It is a document limiting the power of the GOVERNMENT. Think about that. Let that first sentence imprint on your very being. Now one side of pur government has its roots being formed to literally change and interpret that into limiting the power of the people and unlimiting the power of the government. Our forefathers were really smart. They had dealt with tyrannical governments and knew what we the people would face in the far far future. They knew that a democracy would always end in tyrrany. Dr. Peterson you're so close to the answer yet you have missed what is actually going on COMPLETELY. The elites ARE trying to increase the wealth in developing countries and the poorest people on the planet!!! They are doing this by artificially suppressing the 1st world/west through "green" agendas. Holding the earth as the one world religion (one world government is the goal, I hope you know this and know the grass won't always be greener on the other side if everywhere is under the same union rules). The rich people of the west are already leaving their countries due to these regulations and restrictions and authoritarian foreshadowing. They are taking their money and investments and putting it into poor countries around the world. These poor countries are NOT agreeing to "green" agendas, they are carrying on to enrich their economies with factories in replacement of China and carbon dirty jobs and leap frogging in technology. The IMF loans are going to be more available for the poor countries as more people invest in the poor countries increasing the SDR value of their local currency. Furthermore the 1st world is opening up immigration so they can send remittances back to their poor countries and drain the west. The agenda is to make the whole world "equal", when their currencies are worth similar amounts they can introduce a one world currency. When the economic jobs and wages are the same they can remove all the borders. Also, they want slow controlled depopulation and to do that, they have to make the poorest richer and the west will already have less kids because they understand culturally they can't have kids they can't afford. You know this Peterson, you taught me 2 of the key points, you just haven't put it together. Thanks for fighting for us. Communism only works when it is global, which is their goal, but there can NEVER be true communism, there will ALWAYS be elites who lay outside the matrix system. Furthermore I hope you understand the technocracy movement's goal is a world wide energy credit to replace the monetary system (but it will start along side it) in which the elites and rich can buy unused energy credits (carbon allowance) from the poor, as it will be rationed that everyone has the same amount to use in a lifetime. I do not agree. I have stood in Dr. Petersons' corner on several issues prior, but this one. He is horribly mischaracterizing the situation we as a global society now face. He has found a way to warp it into a hidden totalitarian-like scheme. He is essentially saying "reject the experts because they are not our omnipotent masters" because he fails to understand the problem at hand. He then tries to dress up his point of view as if it is a more humanitarian one by referencing saving todays generation of children now instead.

There was still plenty of resentment/ wrath to be felt in this speech; especially in Jordan's face mimic & body posture, less but still present resentment also in his voice. The content may be correct, but folks are able to use ‘mode of delivery’ as a disqualifier and that’s ridiculous. It’s one of the most used woke tools. I live in a rural area where folks still stand up for their beliefs & old farmers/ranchers may express themselves with incorrect grammar, hollering, and cussing… doesn’t change the truthfulness of what they’re saying. Sometimes it would just be strange and passionless to not whip up a rattle over some issues. Worry less about how - and focus on what is being said. Plenty of folks talk calmly and soothingly about complete bullshit. Doesn’t change the smell- it is what it is.

The bill or rights is NOT a document limiting the power of the people. Infact it is in direct contrast to that. It is a document limiting the power of the GOVERNMENT. Think about that. Let that first sentence imprint on your very being. Now one side of pur government has its roots being formed to literally change and interpret that into limiting the power of the people and unlimiting the power of the government. So no government or man could ever impead on those rights. They could never rake them away or even interpret them to limit the people. Two rights were more important than all others so they put them right at the top. We must and are able to say anything. Literally anything we want. Free speech is not up for interpretation. Yet the left decides what words we can say and what words we have to say. No. That is against everything the first amendment is. Then our right to bare arms. Our right to have an equally equipped militia. I'm seeing the educational system going down which has allowed for people to more easily accept these ideas. Just take a look at how the people in charge are trying to handle covid-19 if you want an example of what Jordan is trying to point out. The vaccines are supposed to save the world right? How is the world going to get vaccinated to "save the world" from Covid-19 with these actions? That is the point Jordan is trying to get across. To think even any particular group of individuals is perfect in their consensus is the definition of insanity, as you can’t create a perfect decision and sets of actions out of those that are imperfect, especially when when working with something impossibly complex to accurately analyze even after the fact; this is far more egregious when the context of not even being able to prove that all the factors are known and fully quantified. Riddle me this: it’s far more knowable as to how much money is in circulation in the world and what people do with it, and yet, we still have economic problems despite the comparatively simpler set of factors involved. So why on earth do you or anyone else on earth pretend to know that some model, regardless of how simple or complex, is correct, and with that model, a given set of actions is “best” or even acceptable? That’s narcissistic hubris in the extreme. He made a very solid point about the free market being the best system to achieve the best outcome, precisely because it’s so distributed and isn’t foolish narcissistic centralized planning. No centralized planning of an economy has ever served its people well: a centralized planning and control of something more complex is not remotely a reasonable expected outcome. I work in tech, I do deep analysis of what goes wrong in computer systems. They aren’t always feasible to analyze what went wrong for many reasons, often because the particular problem never repeats as one of the reasons. The most complex computer system with all the stuff that can be happening in it is extremely simple by comparison to know all the possible inputs and outputs and how to get from given inputs to given outputs, and despite all that, computer science has as one of the great problems addressed called the Halting Problem, which translates into it being impossible to deterministically verify that anything beyond a very simple, small bit of code will ever terminate. More often than not, it does so as desired. All these delusional globalists, even if we assume they have the world’s best interest at heart for all the people (and that’s giving them an absurd amount of benefit of the doubt) can’t hope to not make a giant civilization/climate-destroying mess of things, on a good day. They cannot know and understand what they cannot know and understand, and once things go beyond a tipping point with what they do, there is no chance of righting their wrongs against the climate/planet and all of civilization.

If politicians dont do their jobs and protect democracy from globalist billionaires, then why do we need politicians?

What could someone possibly say other than, "Wow, he's clearly passionately expressing something important! Perhaps I should pay attention!" And they'd be better for it! I agree 💯 %. In today's tech world many of us tend to get distracted and fidgety. It helps when the person talking shows some emotion in their presentation. Plus I love to see how sober minded he is and how deeply he cares about the human condition and the state of our world. People NEED to see people of influence who actually care! It gives us hope and courage!

I created a company a few years ago in which I could have met these targets by my math but instead all of my business partners decided to let their greed destroy the plan. I would had done it, at a 100th of the cost. You are so correct and I do not see the same solution on our horizon. I love how they think they can adjust some numbers on a balance sheet and it will magically happen. The cost in human life and suffering will be so great from this and I'm glad somebody is here to reassure me they see the same thing. There are some of our here that have been studying climate change their whole lives and will help fight the good fight. If I told you a day was 20 hours for and you believed me how long until the seasons would start to be off. People are morons. Use what our ancestors used to tell time and then everything will make sense. A month is a moon cycle you know like that big ball in the sky at night. Professor PZ Myers is an Evolutionary Biologist and has numerous KZread videos explaining why Peterson knows less than nothing about the topic and how foolish his misuse of Biology is DNA - he has said in both a lecture online and also in a discussion with Oxford professor Richard Dawkins that ancient cultures discovered the structure of DNA because they have pictures a d engravings that look vaguely like the double helix. Dawkins couldn't believe his ears so checked Peterson really meant what he was saying. Peterson tried to wriggle out of it. He's a pseudo-intellectual of the utmost perfection right down to the irrelevant and ignorant invocation of Godels theorems

This man makes me swell with human pride. Im so glad to see there are good people with enough power to be heard and it be taken seriously. I could not have put it all so elegantly so thank you sir for that machine gun row of points and warning that it wont be tolerated. You can only push us so far and its obvious socially were all tired of the manipulation....everywhere across earth!!

I’m from a developing country. Which is severely lacking compared to most European countries and Asian countries such as China, America, Australia, Canada, and so on. The educational system here is extremely fragile with many loop holes and bias within their information that is then provided to students. Being somebody has was put in an English language school at 3, I was able to find Mr.Jordan and is able to expand my pool of knowledge and is able to think clearer with less prejudice and bias. Being able to listen to him is truly a blessing, somebody who is articulate and speaks nothing but the facts without using assumptions and self-opinionated information. These conversations he put out on social media, gives me inspiration and hope in this jerky, imperfect and horrible world. I hope that everything becomes maybe just a little better in the following years!

Excuse me, but he doesn't represent facts. He in fact represents a certain opinion, that's all. And to be honest the educational and general societal system of some European countries is not that great too. Don't think that we are in such a good shape as societies or that well developed. Not at all.

The "woke" masses won't wake up soon enough to their folly, they need to be challenged. I myself have avoided weighing in on the subject many times for lack of a convincing measure, yet, my reluctance to engage itself may have been seen as acceptance. Kudos to Dr Peterson for his carefully considered monologue. We are no doubt intellectually richer having received it.

same. I'm writing more now to be able to engage verbally in conversations. A good phrase to use: " It seems to me that ... ". or " To my understanding ... " . That opens up the conversations, making them safe and intellectual. At least that's how it seems to me :)

And converse aiming to reach concensus & making ppl seeing the correct incentive to have - for the needed education & a better world. Because I think MANY ppl what what's "good", they just DONT KNOW what that is. (no time to research) So instead they HAVE TO trust someone else to do their bidding (polititians) So i think we must find a way for them to CONCEPTUALIZE : HOW THEY CAN BENEFIT by educating themselves.
