BACK IN THE LEARN TO ROW PAIR + IMPORTANCE OF UT2 STEADY STATE

Always fun to get back into the pair with Robson. After a while away need some time to come back together but good speed nonetheless! Always interesting too to see what the differences between different pairs partners are and what needs to be adjusted each time with each person!
Also I have been getting a few questions regarding UT2 and what it is so I discuss that and how important it is! Enjoy!

Yam isn’t going to fit under the tables any more, in fact he will able to carry them away now. His legs are in full development mode now. Glad to see you back on the water, always the worst getting in the boat after a long absence.

Will you be in the pair with Robson again for the next set of GB trials, or is it all decided by the coaches?

@@CameronBuchan I would vote Robson and you for the stroke pair in the eights, if I only could ;) Went very well that race in Duisburg this year! But anyway, what's the input, tell me! ;)

1:10 "Fierce Swan Airforce attack!" Usually they flee away from the boat and oars. Looks like they wanted to sacrifice themselfs for dinner ;) Even if this session was a bit wobley, Cam you realy improved your technic. Looks a lot more stable with your streched arms. Very good mate, huge improvement! Well done :)

Just wondered about your strategy for the off-season. Got to admire the commitment to land training, but the story from the vlogs last season seemed to be that if you were planning on GB selection then you needed to be quick in either 2- or 1x. Is there another way in, or are you still going to have to find that fast small boat one way or another?

My strategy for the off season, as I've said quite a bit is to enjoy my training and have a bit of fun. On top of that, it's quite difficult to row a pair without someone else! And really when I say 'off season' it really is 'pre season' since training back to the club starts next week - when there will be plenty of people to row with! Lastly, believe it or not, the amount I have been in the pair is alot more than the vast majority of my competition!
