Randy Bachman and C.F. "Fred" Turner were the core members of Bachman-Turner Overdrive throughout their commercial heyday in the 70s. Between them they also composed the vast majority of the band's many hit singles.
Reuniting at the end of 2009 they released an eponymous album in 2010 and in November of that year they performed at the famous Roseland Ballroom in New York City as part of their North American tour. This video was filmed at the show.

Yea Man!! How do people forget this GREAT music. And this was when music was GREAT. I am 62 and I can remember listening to this on AM radio.... AWESOME....
The fact his voice still sounds this good is mad
the scary reality is that there is no one coming up through the ranks anywhere near as good as Randy Bachman and Fred Turner

Fred Turner is one of the best bass players in Rock N Roll, bar none! His voice is perfect for the music they play.👍💪✌️😎
randy bachman can still hit the high notes.......right on randy

That's cause these guys are true musicians who rely on their skills and talents and not shock value and auto-tune. They are fantastic.

Ah, memories of high school. BTO Not Fragile in the old Craig 8-track player cranking the tunes after school. Over 40 years and this song still sounds great!!
As of today the 76 that disliked this must not have been around when this HIT came out and we couldn't get enough of BTO!!! Shame on anyone to dislike Randy singing.

This is great!!! Saw them back in 1986 when they opened for Van Halen. They were awesome then and sound even better now here.
Saw and met BTO when they opened for Van Halens 5150 Tour with new frontman Sammy Hagar back in 1986. Great concert and Randy Bachman is a straight up clean guy. No alcohol or drugs. He calls it sin. Great time with the band and their roadies.
ah the early 70's music
Un gran clásico de los años 70.
Best band to come out of Scotland!!!!!!!!

so, how was it .?. :)
I was there at Roseland in 1978. A pleasure. BTO is marvelous
This is still a great song.
It was 1975 and I was in Charleston WV going to a Vocational School. The coliseum was a tour center for bands and my friends lived up North and we would go to concerts in Morgantown at the university but Big bands like Bachman Turner came to Charleston, the capital of WV. Anyway the band was playing there and I invited my friends to come down and stay in my apartment overnight after the concert and we had so much fun. Smoking joints and passing them around, rockin and rollin, flirting with the girls. Yes 1976 was a very different time in our nation and bands like Bachman Turner, Edgar Winter and his brother Johnny, the Temptations and list goes on were so essential to how we interpreted life. I moved to MS a few decades later and realized the blues was the heart and soul of rock n roll.
Wow! They still have it!
Back in high school in the 70s, cruising the town, it was always 4:20 with BTO and Guess Who. Great songs and great legends
I saw BTO in East Rutherford, New Jersey in 1986, me and my girlfriend had a great time and we knew every song they did 😎😲
Bachman --- Turner Overdrive ( the 1970's line---up or band mates or band members ) are: The legendary Randy Bachman---lead guitar, lead vocals and he is the one singing lead in this film footage the gifted Fred Turner---lead vocals and he is playing bass guitar in this video the incredible Robby " Rob " Bachman---drums and percussion and the amazing Blair Thornton---rhythm guitar and lead guitar
Story behind this song is so funny and endearing!!
Fantastic!
Super Hit zu meiner Jugendzeit. Für mich heute immer noch.
I love this band
Saw live in 1987. Was AWESOME.
Damn what memories. WOW That ending though
One of my all-time favorite songs by one of my all-time favorite bands and one of my all-time favorite Rock & Roll stars, Randy Bachman. I always wanted to be the guy in the song, and then I met my girl. I knew she was the right one for me when she looked at me with big brown eyes and said "You ain't seen nothing yet". Thanks for posting :^)
The stutter is brilliant live
still going strong
Sad we don’t have musicians anymore.🫤 love this song.

Still a big fan in uk some 48 years on BTO rock
They sound amazing
Wow….still got it!❤️🙌🏻👍🏻
Beautiful sounds
Simply gorgeous!
Wow. CLASSIC!
Love BTO. One of my top artists of all time.
This band was the best music on the radio when I grew up ~ hell YEA, this song and Takin' Care of Business, get it on! Best music in the world was when I grew up ~ the radio was actually fun, and raised us on great music. Ain't nothin' like the Les Paul sustain sounds recorded from those two tunes from BTO, in particular. Well, if you are a guitar player, you know exactly what I mean.........
Awesome video!!
wow!!! how amazing his voice still the same
Brilliant ageless!!!!
I love this song
Amazing! Perfect
Played in a ‘pub’ band in the late 70’s. We always finish the night with ( Roll on down the Highway) if memory serves me right 😂 the pub got really busy just before we played that song 🤷♂️
best rhythm guitar chord progression ever
RIP Robbie! :(
WOW That ending though
very good!!!!!❤
