That's common. In Korea, when they prepare dogs for adoption overseas, they already named it so parents who wants to adopt don't have to name them.

Golden retrievers are certainly among the best creatures on Earth. They are loving, kind, smart, comical, and without fault except for shedding which they do a lot of. We've had two of them, unfortunately we just lost our second one last week at age thirteen....devastating. Enjoy them every single day and treat them well, they deserve it.

Each and every dog is an angel

Retrievers are the best dogs. So kind and gentle so no worries. And soooo smart.

Its nice that they have the money to do so. I am happy for their good fortune and that these dogs will have a happy life. I hope more people in the future will adopt more dogs who are not only golden retrievers and that are in shelters locally. Good luck and happy health.

@black white mountain husky I said among the smartest, always included in a list of the top 10 intelligent dogs. People don't say that because they're popular, they're popular because of those reasons. I volunteer at an animal rescue and have never seen a single aggressive golden. Their gentle demeanor and intelligence always shines through no matter how mean their owners were.

I teared up all over again at the clip of Jason surprising Kaitlyn at the park with Pinot. 🥲 They are such a great couple and their pooches are the perfect addition!

Dogs give us so much emotional support n the biggest joy in our lives,,life is so complete having any kind of pets around you😘

You may not see Labradors in your local shelters, but they have been so common in Northern CA shelters that they had FREE adoptions occasionally. It varies a lot from town to town. I've gotten a Breeder-owned Lhasa Apso, 2 miniature poodles, a Basset Hound and an Italian Greyhound from our local shelter. It's shocking what lovely dogs get dumped and end up needing help.

It truly does me so much good to see human beings that are this kind and caring to help pets that get bad breaks in life from usually crummy owners. I think these two people really love these two pups, so I'm so glad to see it's working out wonderfully. @@kx_xx there are actually a lot of married couples who're still together and married from the franchise. And while this couple didn't meet "on" the show, they still meet each other "thru" the show. Bachelor has been on 27 seasons and the Bachelorette for 17. Fifteen couples formed on the show are still married and many have kid(s)! There have been numerous marriages/kids from Bachelor in Paradise too! Surprising but true. Smarmy sometimes? Yes. But also not the total sham most people think it is. And bless Kaitlyn and Jason for adopting these two cute Goldens!

@@iTerrify It's not paying breeders, though. If breeders get money for what they're doing, they will continue breeding animals.

@@SceneArtisan you mean puppy mills. Puppy mills and responsible breeders are not the same thing. Responsible breeders check to make sure that there is no deformities or anything happening. They also make sure that the puppies are healthy and that the females stay healthy as well. They also don't over breed. Also, they vet there people who they let buy from them. And they chip their puppies so if those douchebags don't want their dogs anymore they can come and get them. Are those assholes that over breed dogs until the female dies or they abandon her. The dogs always have something wrong with them like kennel cough or something like that. And you can usually tell by the way that they have their places set up. Like it's dirty and overcrowded etc etc. Where is responsible breeders are not they're very clean and the dogs are not kept in cages. But like I said don't confuse the two. Because not everybody wants to see dog breeds go away. Because quite a lot of them have actually gone extinct and we will never get them back. And also a lot of responsible breeders are now trying to breed out really bad attributes. Like they're trying to make it we're German Shepherds are going back to the original like they were before.

A very good breed indeed to have as a pet and a companion, they enjoy life and the love 💘 that comes from there owner,they can also be very laid back and love to chill out with there family.👍

These dogs are so ready to love and be loved 🥰🥰🥰

Honestly I wished I had the financial means to have more dogs, I have 2 pits since they were pups and I love them.

This is wonderful, just wondering the significance of adopting from South Korea. She made it sound like it wasn't commonly known, and curious why go that far for a dog when there are ones here in the States who need homes. I'm not knocking what they did, just trying to understand the why.

Marianne Contrino we don’t know the full story maybe they were shopping around multiple places and since they have the money they looked at places overseas and these certain dogs they felt for. Sometimes you have a connection with an animal and that’s what makes it special- they had the money so why not

I have always had goldens and fostered too. I have a rescue black lab now but would love to adopt a golden. Who are ya'll going through to get your new golden babies? Very interested!!

Stolen Dogs Shipped to America. THE CAVALRY GROUP MARCH 21, 2016 Dogs are in such short supply in America that rescues groups all over are scrabbling for product to keep their sales volume going and keep up the illusion that America still has a pet over- population problem. Many rescues are jumping on the hot new Turkish Golden Retriever scam to keep the money flowing. In the past year over 1,000 supposedly purebred Golden Retrievers have been imported into the United States by various American rescue groups to resell off for tax free profit. These stories are getting high mileage in the press and donations are flowing into the groups that are exploiting Americans soft hearts and their need to feel that they saved something. Far too many will believe any sob story these rescues make up and pay premium prices for second hand dogs from unknown backgrounds. We are supposed to believe that these perfectly healthy, glossy-coated, friendly, well socialized dogs with a smile on their faces and a wagging tail as they come off the airplanes from Turkey have been gathered up from the streets of Istanbul as so-called strays. Fraudulent retail rescues want you to believe that purebred Golden Retrievers are wandering the streets of Istanbul, Turkey, in desperate need of homes. They claim that Turkey has a massive stray dog problem to con gullible buyers who know nothing about the middle east and believe it to be a massive wasteland of illiterate people. Just where are these alleged purebred Golden Retrievers really coming from? Let me give you a clue, its not the streets of Istanbul. Thats all a con. A real feral street dog would not be purebred, they would be skinny, mangy, starving, with fly-bitten ears, flea infestations, scars from rough living, dusty and dirt c covered, and a shy and skittish temperament that would never willingly approach a human. In short, not a single one of these supposed stray Golden Retrievers is actually what they are portrayed as. Every single one of these imports is deceitful to the people who are buying these dogs. These groups claim that Golden Retrievers were some sort of status symbol in Turkey ten years ago and thats why they have all suddenly been dumped but none of them have ever been to Turkey. They are peppering the media with things like, experts say theses dogs used to be status symbols. Really? What experts? Who are these unnamed experts? It looks like this entire fad can be traced to one single woman in Atlanta, Georgia with a good sob story and a highly profitable rescue. Now groups all over America are jumping onto the bandwagon to grab up these dogs for resale.

@@keeppushingtruth2356 I only buy from show breeders, in January I bought a beautiful, excellent conformation 7 month old puppy from a breeder in Romania, the nicest puppy and the nicest people anyone could meet, the breeder, his sister who is a professor at MIT and their mother all friended me on FB to keep in touch with the puppy. I learned from the sister that their mom cooks special meals for all their dogs twice a week and treats them like her grandkids. In short, I now have this little extended family with them. They sent me numerous professionally taken studio photos, and had the puppy groomed before her flight. A poland pet transport went to Romania to pick her up and handle all the transport details and pet passport, brought her to Detroit and arranged for a woman to pick her up there at the airport and drive the 10 hour trip to my front door. In the mail soon after came the official FCI pedigree and registration papers as promised. I'm 100% satisfied in every way and told them I will buy another puppy from them, they offered to send a puppy from t heir current litter and said I could pay them later, but I declined as I'm not ready right now, wow, just amazing people!!

This broke my heart I lost my golden retriever yesterday (thanksgiving) due to cancer

Sorry to hear about your loss, I've been through that experience multiple times myself. I've always had a pair of goldens since I was a child and have continued that tradition. Just remember that there's another dog out there waiting for you to rescue each other when you're done grieving.

I'm so very sorry. Losing a loved one in this manner is never easy, I know. I lost my golden to cancer and five months later my husband passed away from cancer too. That was a tough year to get through. It does get easier over time. Hang in there and know you aren't alone!
